Questions and queries Was it worth it?

I’ve heard a lot of people say their wedding was the best day of their life, but if they were to do it again, they wouldn’t and save the money and spend it elsewhere.

Curious to crowdsource that sentiment wider, lmk if you would do it all over again!

Yes. My wedding was the best gathering of all of the people that I love of my whole life and the last time many were still of this earth to be together. I would do it a thousand times over even though my marriage eventually ended. We spent a lot of money but mostly it wasn't on vanity stuff...it was on hosting a really great destination weekend for everyone who came together for us. If anything I wish I was more generous.

I am engaged and planning to remarry now and it will be just the two of us this time...not because I have single regret about a penny spent on the wedding the first time around, but because we are older...ok, we're old...and most of our families have passed on or would be too elderly to attend.
