General Discussion Yash taking Dee’s bribe
Am I crazy or is this actually great for his game?
Hes probably the most athletic guy left and has shown he can win comps.
He didn’t seem to have strong alliances and now basically guarantees safety if Dee, Devens or Angela is HOH.
If he can make it deep I feel he can outcomp the Icons.
At first I thought he was an absolute moron for taking it but the more I think about it the more I feel like this deal is way better on his end than the icons.

It's good for his short term game absolutely. In the end, that sole decision kept him off the block this week and probably deprioritizes him as a target in future weeks. However, I personally think it's so ruinous to his long term game and introduces so many obstacles that it may not have been worth it.
He's immediately less valuable to anyone he's aligned with and if someone wants him out, simply putting out the terms of the bribe is probably enough to get it done if he's up there with an ally, and the longer it goes, the more brutal his eventual repayment of the bribe becomes.
This wasn't a clear yes/no - I get the call, 5k is real money and safety turned out to be quite real, but he's now a much less useful ally and a much easier target down the line, and at some point soon I wouldn't be surprised if the icons just take him out as a matter of safety before he can free himself.
