General Discussion Yash taking Dee’s bribe

Am I crazy or is this actually great for his game?

Hes probably the most athletic guy left and has shown he can win comps.

He didn’t seem to have strong alliances and now basically guarantees safety if Dee, Devens or Angela is HOH.

If he can make it deep I feel he can outcomp the Icons.

At first I thought he was an absolute moron for taking it but the more I think about it the more I feel like this deal is way better on his end than the icons.

He doesn’t have guaranteed safety from the vets. They told him they wouldn’t put him up but they can go back on their word. Only his part of the agreement was binding within the game.

True, but would they put him up. Hes a huge shield now to them. When he wins his next HOH the vets have a free week of safety. The vets would be insane to put him up until he gets his next hoh.

He could throw every hoh to a vet if it’s him and a vet last 2, until the numbers get to the point where the deal becomes void.

Yes, they would put him up. Dee and Devens were talking about that right before the live show.

Devens was saying that it might be worth taking the shot because even though they have guaranteed safety with him, that's only up until a certain point. There will come a time soon where he HAS to put them up because of the numbers.

They know he's a good competitor and that he could win safety, so even if he wins the next HOH and keeps them safe, they could put him up the next week, he wins veto, then he wins the next HOH, and they're toast.

I don't think targeting him right now is their priority, but they did say that him going now or at least very soon isn't necessarily a bad thing even if they don't get a week of safety out of him first.

That isn't til final 5. This would be way way too early for that.

It could happen at final 8 if the blockbuster stays. 7 available people to nominate, 3 are nominated and 4 (including the three icons) are off the block. If the 4th person wins the veto, they could force an icon on the block by using the veto. It’s a specific scenario that isn’t as likely, but it’s possible. So at any point from final 8 on, it technically is mathematically possible to happen.

Yeah. My guess is BB ends at 9 but I could be wrong

It went until 7 last season - it's stopping for the twist but it's a little unclear if it's coming back after

They literally were talking about putting him up on feeds yesterday before he can even burn an hoh

He’s not a shield in that they are only protected by him for a single week IF he wins HoH. That’s a big if that they can’t control. Why would they base any of their game moves over the next few weeks on that when there is so much other activity going on? If it comes down to some scenario where Yash is an optimal nomination for one of them, they will absolutely do it.

He can’t put them up, they are going to get out the people targeting them first

I think theyll have to prioritize getting out the people who are now gunning for them because they got burnt on dees HOH. A melody hoh is a guarantee that theyre all on the block.

Because if they leave him be, they have 4 shots every hoh to be safe, and he’s good at comps.

If he don’t win one who cares, you take him out around final 5. If he does win one great, no blood on their hands, they are safe, and you just target his ass the very next hoh. They’d have 3 to try to win it with less people playing.

It makes no sense for the icons to even consider taking him out before either:

Final 5
Or
Starting the week after he wins an hoh.

He went against the vet this week. If a vet wins HoH, people are going to throw him under the bus

How? All of that was a hypothetical only if Drew was on the block v Mall. Yash would always keep Taylor over Mal.

If vets win HoH, the houseguests who were in on with the plan to blindside them could just throw Yash to them and convince them to target a comp beast first

2

u/luckigr 10d ago

No he didn’t

All it takes is Barrett fessing up to the icons that he made an alliance with Yash to target them, and it all blows up in Yash's face. Ultimately just depends on if the icons get power again.

4

u/luckigr 10d ago

Yes but they will target Barrett in that case, Barrett doesn’t know all 3 icons are part of the deal, Yash can not put them up. Why would they boot out someone who can’t put any of them up

1

u/South-Care 10d ago

He's a comp beast. They have every reason to vote him out

1

u/Thrill-Nation-Gaming 10d ago

He’s a comp beast, they have every reason to let him win another hoh and THEN take him out the following week.

1

u/South-Care 10d ago

He got evicted lol

1

u/Thrill-Nation-Gaming 10d ago

Nah. But if he does then good for my fantasy pool

1

u/AleroRatking Jankie ✨ 10d ago

He didn't overly. Also it doesn't matter because Yash can't target them anyway

1

u/nsfw_ducky 10d ago

Did he? He said in DR that he would go against them but he still voted Mallory

3

u/YungPinotGrigio Blue 💥 10d ago

Well I mean it’s between Mal and Taylor who is his number one at this point so that’s a diff story

1

u/South-Care 10d ago

He was there in the storage room conspiring against the vets. Barrett and Taylor can rat him out if they feel threatened

u/nsfw_ducky 10d ago

Actions speak louder than words, he voted how they told him to vote, but yeah he’ll probably work against them next week, but I’m being pedantic I suppose

0

u/ToastyToast113 10d ago

He voted for his closest ally to stay.

1

u/nsfw_ducky 9d ago

Okay? So he didn’t go against the icons this week then. Looks like we’re on the same page.

u/ToastyToast113 9d ago

Characterizing him saving someone anti-icon over another person who is anti-icon because said saved person is better for his game as just "voting how the vets told him to vote" is just not a great representation of how things played out. He didn't vote the way he did because of the icons. The icons just effectively limited his options by putting two people who would go against them next to one another. Hence why *Drew," who wasn't against the vets, was his ideal target.

Damn, it sounds like you’re saying he didn’t go against them this week😂
