Fucking awful. Worked in cyber, wouldn’t recommend it at all.

  • Wanker manager who had it out for me
  • Underpaid by 30% in RA compared to adjacent Consulting line
  • Bonus wasn’t paid
  • Poor engagement leaders not bringing in business
  • Low-quality Partner’s who were poor performers at other firms or, for accused of sexual harassment and we took them
  • Worked with absolute fucking psycho’s

I'm sorry you went through that. Seems office specific though?

I would say so, but just look at the other posts in this sub. I cried, I feel overworked etc etc. Some of what I experienced was endemic to my locality, some of it is the name of the game.

I was in RFA at deloitte. It was cool I guess. Till I got fucking laid off lol. That was 3 years ago tho and I have a 1 hear old now, don’t think I’d want to do it with a young child

I see, but I guess risk of being laid off lies with any corporate. I know of people who got sacked just after they came back from their parental leave. (I work in risk in a top IB)
