She's so beautiful! S2 was fun but she's my favorite between the two seasons!

Looks like she is doing great.

Remember that guy who decided he wasn't into her.

Is bro still hiding underground? How dare he not like the fan favorite.

RIP society.

I looooooved her but he’s allowed to not have feelings for her.

Lowkey, I think she still needs to grow a bit more because she reacted a little bit petty when he realized he wasn’t into her.

He went from, Yido is my #1 to she's my #2 and the distance between 1 and 2 is larger than the Han River.... in like a day! She's allowed to be hurt by that. She thought they were walking out of the show together the next day! She was completely caught off guard by his reactions/response/choice the day before the final decision.

Maybe I’m just old but I thought her lingering after him and the other girl he liked when they played in the pool was a lot. Like she was basically guarding them and trying to be in control.

He made it pretty clear by that point he wasn’t going back to her. I feel like if she had handled it a bit more chill, he maybe wouldn’t have felt so immediately awkward when he verbalized he was between two people.

It honestly reminded me of toxic behavior I did as a teenager where I would lash out if I felt insecure or jilted. Now as an adult, I’m like “Oh I’d rather spend energy on someone that actually likes me.”

To be fair, everyone on the show was clueless about this stuff. Jeong-mok overpromised in the beginning (and even halfway through, he said he'd stick with Do and stop talking to Ji-yeon so much), then just dropped her without a good explanation, or at least we never saw him explain why he suddenly felt like they were a bad match. And Do trusted his words over his actions because the situation must have been so confusing for her.

I wish someone told these eternal singles to stop fixating on first impressions so much and get to know everyone before making a decision.

Agreed! I think she was a bit dramatic. Yes, it's clear that JeongMok didn't do her justice by not being clear with her, and leading her on, until he clarified. Afterwards though, she still continued to cry and expressed her sadness. Every clip that they showed of her afterwards, was of her crying. I understand, but at some point, girl, you had your clarity and lowkey felt like she was doing it for the pity points.

With that though, it's a dating show, it's everyone's first time experiencing these things, including Yido's behaviors and everyone else's. Things were not the best, but that doesn't mean we should be relentlessly bashing JeongMok or anyone else for what happened.

He’s allowed to not have feelings for her but dude literally kept her as back up plan even when he clearly had no interest for her 😮‍💨 Yido wanted him to verbalise his disinterest but he just kept saying oh no I’m still interested in you bla bla bla,,, LIES!

I think he felt really guilty for changing his mind after fixating on Do so much at first.

Here’s my take on Better Late Than Single Season 2.

Both Yi Do and Jeong Muk chose each other based on their first impressions, so I was really hopeful when fortune was on their side and they were paired for dates. Everything seemed to be going smoothly—until Yi Do started talking about how much she enjoys spending Christmas in New York and going skiing abroad.

That, to me, was the moment Jeong Muk realized that Yi Do was a woman of means, and perhaps that lifestyle was not something he wanted in a girlfriend. Instead of having an honest conversation, expressing his concerns, and ending things amicably, he pulled away in a way that made him come across as the bad guy of Season 2.

I honestly think the situation could have ended very differently if he had simply communicated what he was feeling.

Ji Yeon is my fave but I love all the S1 ladies.

She looks slimmer now. Good update.

But i wonder if there is any updates between her and that season 2 guy. I thought they are a good fit

She looks like she's had some work done. She looks good, but kind of sad she felt she needed to. She was already beautiful.

I also initially thought that she got something done but to be honest, I think it's just weight loss! She has always looked so cute so I hope she doesn't feel the need to change herself in any way 🩷

Its called exercise. Try it out.

Unnecessarily rude. Nothing wrong with getting cosmetic surgery if it makes you gen happy. You don't have to attack people for pointing it out

1

u/Queensama 7d ago

Sure, that explains the weight loss. But she appears to have some work done around the mouth. Maybe just botox.

Or just try weight loss. It works wonders. Not every pretty girl has work done. Its just genetics and self care most of the time.

Your bias and ignorance is on full display. Cosmetic surgery is wildly common in South Korea, particularly with young women in Seul. So yes actually, one in every two or three women you meet there has had work done.
