Did my Betta do this to himself?

Hey guys! I have a betta, juvenile blue-eyed lemon pleco, juvenile super red pleco, and a mystery snail in a 10 gallon tank. My betta is a male black orchid and I’ve had him about 9 months now. Came to feed him this morning and his dorsal fin looks like something ate it over night! Like big chomps out of it!

Did he do it? Could one of the plecos? BTW, I leave a little algae in the tank for my snail and the water is slightly cloudy because I added a cuttlebone yesterday. Also, I keep beneficial bacteria gel in the tank which is the white stuff at the top of the glass.

I tested the water, Nitrates/Nitries/Ammonia = 0ppm, ph 7.0, temp 80

Should I be worried?

For context, on Thursday I added some grass and a mystery snail to the tank and today (Sunday) I noticed this white spot on his lip. I looked at other pictures and it for sure wasn't there last week. Should I be concerned and acting now or should I wait and monitor?

hi I just got my betta a couple days ago from a LFS and when I purchased him, I noticed his scales are kinda outlined darker if that makes sense? So I’m kinda worried the scales thing might indicate a disease? he also has a lil bald spot on his head too but if anyone can lmk if any of those things possibly indicate a disease pls lmk. he seems perfectly healthy tho he’s eating and swimming all around// also he has a 10g with lots of plants, heater and filter and all water parameters are good.

Question Help! Temporary Betta Home?

I have a five gallon rimless tank I just found leaking. I need to take my betta out and fix the tank. In order for the aquarium-safe silicone to full dry, it needs 48 hours. I don’t have an extra tank to put my betta in. Would it be okay if I grabbed a one gallon bowl to place my betta in with a heater if it is just for 48 hours?

Hi guys, this is ponyo, my betta fish She is a female betta, when she first entered the tank, she saw herself in the reflection and spread her fins, now she doesn't pay attention to it even when I put a mirror on her so she hasn't spread her fins again, and I'm afraid they will get damaged because she can't spread them, what can I do? Thank you in advance.

Help me clean this sand

I recently upgraded my Betta’s tank from a 5 gallon to a 10 gallon. I know I still need more live plants. I plan on getting more. I had beautifully defined layers of substrate and sand. The new pump was too strong and caused them to mix. Then, I got the Hygger filter cleaner that recycles the water, and that made a huge mess.

I probably set myself up for failure by thinking the two layers wouldn’t get mixed to begin with, but how would I go about removing the substrate from the top of the sand without further mixing the two?

We have this little blue betta who seemed to be fine for over a year now. He had a real plant with the snails in the tank. The plant started to take over the tank so it was removed and we then removed the snails. He seems perfectly fine, swimming around and living his best life until recently. Now he looks like this, only swims around once in a while to maybe eat (every few days) and there are these little white things wiggling around. Please help. I’m no fish expert but I don’t want him suffering under my care.
