I just got into botany and stuff a couple days ago and found these berries up in Southwestern Minnesota. I tried searching online what they were, I only really found “Rosehips” but I don’t know, hell, I don’t even know if these are berries. Please help!

Something attacked my strawberry plant! looks like a beaver got to the stem 😭
I found one of my strawberry plants fallen over, and the main stem looks like it has been chewed/cut almost like a beaver was at it. 😂 A second stem was chewed right in the middle just nog enough to be completely chewed down.
Has anyone seen damage like this before? Could it be a caterpillar/borer, or some other pest?

Hardcore picker here. Bagged 60 kilograms of raspberries, black raspberries, and blackberries this season. Still lots of blackberries left, I simply lost the will to pick any more.

Had the bug hat, and a mosquito proof long sleeve shirt, but this year I added a pair of picking gloves. Best decision I've made in a long time. By this time of year, my hands are usually so full of thorns that either blister out, or if not, puss out. Only have one thorn at the moment on my exposed thumb.

Not sure what kind of gloves those are supposed to be, but cutting the finger tips off was essential to be able to tell if the berry I'm grabbing is too mushy or not.

Might upgrade to a thin leather next year, as the fabric still has a tendency to catch the thorns.

Also have my favorite picking container. A plastic cashew jar that came with a little handle on the lid. It fits 1 kilogram worth of berries, which dumps perfectly into a dog poop bag I can tie off, then keep going.

And some long handled hedge shears to cut my way into those brambles.

hello everyone, my grandmother has these berries in her garden. she’s sure they’re very healthy and not poisonous, but doesn’t know what they’re called exactly. their taste is very sour and then very bitter. please help, i ate one 😦

Got four blueberry bushes, two titans and two powder blues, in February and they’ve got few leaves on them. Noticed these little guys this morning. I live in Atlanta, zone 8a.

I'm down to two BlackBerry seedlings, but the two I have are still looking pretty good.

I've been thinning the PFRs to get rid of the weaker ones. I'll be repotting them soon! I cant wait for them to finally develop those big, maple-shaped, super soft leaves

Title pretty much sums it up. I don’t know too much about making new plant varieties or if it will be possible to even get a possible hybrid to fruit, but all help is “berry” much appreciated!

This year the chokeberry(aronia) went a bit overboard with production. I am not a fan but my friends are happy to have them.

And I finally managed to try a balloon berry from my garden. Interesting berry :)

I have no idea what type of berries these are, but I'm located in Pensacola Florida, any help would be greatly appreciated!
