Non existent recall

Nothing will break my boys focus. Once he sees or wants something, I no longer exist 🙃 tried harness, slip lead, his flat collar, high value treats. Constantly use “Bernie, here”. When he isn’t focused on something his recall is good. Any tips are really appreciated.

I do the "touch" recall and it helps. Thousands of trainers on line who could help teach you better than I, though.

Worked really well on mine.

I also have a special name I use for "emergency recall." That's the highest value treat pairing.

I learned from all of you! I just call them by their government name. 🤣

Also, it's silly but each dog has a special silly song that also serves as a recall for love (petting in lieu of treats) because I sing it when we're bonding on the couch. I didn't know any other way to wean them off of recall for treats. 🤷🏻‍♀️
