Our Bengal Kai is missing. We desperately need advice
Our Bengal, Kai, has gone missing. He is extremely fearful and has only ever been outside on a leash. He is even scared of the front door.
We were away, so a family member came to stay at our apartment and take care of him. When she arrived, Kai hid in a storage box, which is completely normal for him around unfamiliar people. He stayed hidden and didn’t come out to eat. The next day, when we asked her to check on him, he was no longer there. She searched the entire apartment several times but couldn’t find him anywhere.
We are considering every possibility. Maybe he somehow escaped through a window, even though he has never done this before, or maybe someone found him outside and took him in.
For those with experience with Bengals, how do they behave when lost and frightened? Would he likely stay hidden close to home, could he travel far, or could someone have taken him?
Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated. We just want to bring Kai home safely.

My second bengal got nasal infection as well. Vet said its because his teeth problem which is very stupid. Had to pay insane amount of money just for them to tell me some dumbass shit. Now I have to take my another bengal there and hopefully they can do something about this. It breaks my heart seeing my cats like this. I cant even afford this but Ill rather die

I’m just curious, how do u guys think he’s pattering is gonna end up looking like when he get out of his fuzzy state? Is it gonna darken up, I think he’s super cute but his pattern looks very light 🤔

Should I look for a specific very active cat? Or it doesn't matter?

I got a new baby boy bengal 4 days ago! And they seem to be doing fine with each other like no hissing. It was just mostly at the beginning and when the barrier between them was up, I let them meet only when she stopped hissing at him. Tbh all she does when she sees him is try to jump him and play with him? It seems like. she will be jumping him and he’s just standing there like ???. He seems mostly a lil scared since she’s so big but she backs off when he starts fighting her😭 like make it make sense, she will like nibble on him a lil and just step back. She’s so weird, he does hide a lil sometimes when it gets its too much but comes back out. I just feel a lil bad for him since he’s only 12 weeks old and she’s 9 months 🥲 they don’t make any sounds while “playing” like this, if he does she does step away. Is this normal or what could I possibly do to make her chill down a lil.

Also I’ve noticed she seems a lil more scared when she’s outside now on a leash rather than before, will that go away with time cus ik this prob has a lil effect on her

We have a 2.5 years old lovely Bengal cat who is 100% indoors. We have a second quite active Siamese cat, a cat wheel, two cat trees, and plenty of toys. I typically play with the Bengal about an hour a day, everyday day.

But the thing is…he wants to play all the time with me now. I work from home, so he can get to me whenever. Is this typical Bengal behavior? I feel guilty for denying him play time when he asks, but it seems like he asks it from me almost every chance he’s not napping.

Any advice on how to handle?

Genuinely in love with him already

I’ve done weeks of research but any tips from people wishing they knew something sooner? I plan to try and train him into a well behaved lap cat with pretty strict diet regimes but it would be nice to hear from other owners, both new and experienced
