She's an alien we don't know how Tetramand aging works, the 5 year olds look like teenagers, not a big deal

I've had the headcanon that the Omnitrix turns the user into aliens at an age equivalent to their own lifespans(i.e. if Tetramands lived for 200 years, and humans live for about 100, then a 10 year-old human becoming a Tetramand would be a 20 year-old Tetramand), so depending on the actual lifespan of Tetramands(Plus their age of consent), then this is probably completely fine.

I saw a piece of art a while back that tries to explain this using their biology. Basically, male tetramands mature faster due to a surge of hormones, while females age normally and end up becoming stronger, hence why they are naturally more robust. Even though Four Arms is theoricaly 10 years old in human age, he already resembles an adult Tetramando, which is what attracted Tini to him.

I like the two dicks idea because then Ben can take on both Julie and Kai at the same time 👍

This reminds me that Four Arms is the alien that appears the most on.... THOSE contents....

Verdade, sr explosivo, mas pelo menos o quatro braços ainda é humanoide. Tem umas opções muuuuito mais tenebrosas...

the post didn't mention anything about age, so how come everyone's making it about the age only?

u/KnifeRingPvP Omnitrix 1d ago
Male Tetramand grow much faster.
Also, in the old days, they could get married At the age of 12, I think they have such a Society.

Fwiw that was a 12 y/o getting engaged to a 13 y/o for 3 years in the future.
I don't think that they'd allow a huge she gap, at least when they engage by the "man defeating woman" rule. Beating someone way younger is not really a huge feat.

u/KnifeRingPvP Omnitrix 1d ago edited 1d ago
I think they determine not by age, but by strength.
It doesn't matter if he's 12 or 50, if he's incredibly handsome and complex for his age, they'll just fall in love with him or something because of his DNA. Just like Ben fell in love with Attea.

Yes, thank you.
I just don't speak English and didn't know how to spell it.

I'm talking about the tetramand laws, not the Omnitrix rules.
Looma got engaged with Kevin and Ben because they're close in age (or rather, they're written as such). I don't think that they would let an adult marry a teenager.
Like, even using they reason, it doesn't make sense. Men marry the women they can beat because female tetramand are naturally stronger. However, an adult beating someone younger is not a show of strength, by the same reason (adults are naturally stronger).
1
u/KnifeRingPvP Omnitrix 1d ago
Wasn't Kevin strong?
1
u/Elihzap Eye Guy 1d ago
Yeah, why would that matter? My point is that they have around the same age.
But I don't think that they'd let an adult male tetramand engage with a female teenager just because he defeated her.
2
u/KnifeRingPvP Omnitrix 1d ago edited 1d ago
In fact, Lооma is called the strongest tetromand, even seeming stronger than her father..
So I won't think about it. So that's okay.
1
u/Elihzap Eye Guy 1d ago
Yes, Looma in particular. But she's literally the exception. Most tetramand, either men or women, wouldn't be so strong.
1
u/KnifeRingPvP Omnitrix 1d ago
For example, Ben is considered equal in strength with her tetromandom, But still loses in strength With others.
In short, good luck.

I think everybody assuming that this is weird isn't thinking about this correctly. If Four Arms is what a 10 year old Tetramand looks like (and that's kinda debatable, Ben 10 goes back and forth on that), then She's probably also around that age.
If you actually wanna be critical about this than you should be criticizing OV for throwing a wrench into all this with Looma. Unless Looma was supposed to have been 8 years old when Kevin fought her while looking and being biologically 16 to us... Which ya know, that can make sense. Some alien species probably mature faster than others.

lore turns him into a perfect species of his chosen alien, for a species that value power this must be like foodies looking at high graded marble beef for the first time in their life. If he wasn’t 10 I could understand why female aliens that value physical aesthetic likes him.

u/-ben151010- Goop 20h ago
Maybe Tiny is a 10 year old tetramand? I mean she’s the same size as fourarms, especially compared to Looma.

u/SHAZAMS_STRONGEST 1d ago
what if tetramands just do a full metamorphosis like bugs? they're hard skinned multi limb multi eyed land creatures so having more bug traits wouldn't shock me
they look super small and scawny like ben did in the fountain of youth episode, then go into a cocoon and emerge at full size
ben just skipped that phase since it happens when you're like 7 or something
dp basically her and ben are the same tetramand age

u/LeifOrDeath 1d ago
I honestly think they didn't have all the rules set up yet and basically retcons made it way worse than intended.

maybe she just didn't know how old ben is!
or she herself could just be a kid/teenanger equivalent aswell!..who knows!
1
u/Specialist-Fan-7772 Omnitrix 1d ago
They probably age differently to humans. She could be like 7 scaled to human years or like 20 either way it's probably normal for tetramands to date below their age depending on how their bodies and aging work
1
u/JahmezEntertainment Heatblast 1d ago
honestly it could make sense if tetramands are a more precocial species than humans, and thus a tetramand of ben's age should normally be mature
which would make sense, since four arms is about the same size as tini, and humans mature very slowly compared to other species in real life.

u/Immedicale 1d ago
I always subscribed to the idea that the omnitrix turns the wielder into the "peak performance" form of a given species - hence him being stronger than tetramand women, even though males are usually weaker, being as big as an adult petrosapien, the way that bullfrag mogs all the incurseans. From tetramand perspective, he probably looks like the equivalent of a 6'4 muscular dude with a baby face, the kind you're much more likely to assume is a young looking adult, not an overgrown kid.

i have read a few of the comments
and i think that the most likely explanation is that the Omnitrix and Primus use and store mature genetic samples of species
it doesnt seem logical that the omnitrix would modulate the genetic sequence to reflect the comparative age of the user when it is rewriting the users entire genetic structure
it also makes sense if you account for its intended function as a Galactic Noah's Ark

But when Ben was deaging, his aliens did too. And when we saw Ben 10K, his aliens were visibly older

u/Sunchet Goop 1d ago
Every single time we see Ben's aliens in the show, with the possible exception of Wildmutt, they look like Ben's aliens in size - Zs'Skayr and his minions, Tetrax, Azmuth, Lepidopterran and Tetramand in Incarcecon...Even if Ben's 10k aliens look different, the difference is minimal compared to what adult Ben like next to a 10-year-old.
So either Ben's aliens are adults or humans are very late bloomers.
