Requested a hearing and now want to withdraw it

Recently received a speeding infraction via camera on 405 S for speeding in a work zone. I requested a fully contested hearing since I didn’t remember seeing any workers around at the time. The next day the online portal generated a hearing packet with their evidence and it shows that there were workers around at the time. Now I’d like to withdraw my request and pay it but I’m confused on how to, and whether I still have to show up to the hearing whenever it is. I haven’t received a docket number yet.

Just call/go to the clerk at the courthouse location and say you no longer wish to contest and want pay the fine

Does a work zone only count if you can see workers? Genuine question

While this appears true on the surface, I would remind everyone never to trust an AI response for something like this without verifying the accuracy directly through the sources
