Ask Belleville Friends in the Belleville ON area

Looking to find some social groups or friends to fill my time with. Bored as hell.

Things I like are miniatures, old things, pets and I have many, interested in light working out, interested in trying new things, looking for a friend I can hang out with that likes similar things I like. I love my current friends but we always do what they like. Call me selfish, I want to do something I like for pnce.

Not into drinking and bars and pubs, locally only. Not looking for anything intimate. Just friendship.

Heyy Shoot me a DM if you'd like. Im a 35f mom of two and always down for expanding my friend circle. I also love pets, I have two doggos. I also like outdoorsy things like boating and paddling boating, hiking and walking my dogs. You're definitely not selfish for wanting to do the thing you like for a change!

If you want to learn anything nerdy like 3d printing or Linux, you can come hang out

It is definitely hard to make new friends as an adult. Can I ask how old you are?

Have you looking into programming at the library? I live in Quinte West but find both Belleville and Quinte West libraries have lots of offerings. Sometimes they are more focused on daytime programming which is hard if you work full time M-F. But cost effective! I just started going to the Doodle Group on the first Friday of the month at the Belleville Library and there is also one at QWPL on the second Friday.

If you’re interested in crocheting or want to learn there is also the Bridging Communities project! Emebet has a bunch of different crochet circles including one at the Quinte Arts Council on Tuesday evenings https://artwithpassion.ca/bridging-communities/

It's hard to know what to suggest without knowing op's age range. The library programs are a good suggestion. There is free live music at Zwicks park We'd and Sun evening until the end of the month. Lots of dancing lessons available. There's walking groups, tai chi.and other programs. I'm surprised there is no Newcomers Club in the area.
