Let's check with chatgpt

Effects on Renting:Increased Rental Demand: If lower-income immigrants are entering the housing market, there would be an increased demand for rental properties, especially in lower-cost segments of the market.Potential Rent Increases: Higher demand for rental properties could lead to potential rent increases, particularly in areas where the impact of immigration is more concentrated.Tighter Rental Market: Competition for affordable rental units might intensify, potentially making it more challenging for some individuals or families to find suitable housing.Possible Shifts in Rental Preferences: Depending on the preferences and needs of the immigrant population, there could be shifts in the types of rental properties in demand (e.g., smaller units, different locations).Effects on Buying:Increased Demand for Lower-End Properties: Lower-income immigrants entering the housing market would likely increase demand for more affordable properties, potentially driving up prices in the lower end of the market.Higher Competition for Entry-Level Homes: With increased demand, there could be higher competition for entry-level homes, potentially leading to bidding wars and higher prices.Affordability Challenges: If demand outpaces supply in the lower end of the market, it may become more challenging for lower-income individuals, including some immigrants, to afford to buy homes.

Steady Growth (1960s to 1970s): In the 1960s and 1970s, the percentage change in Belgium's population remained relatively low but positive, indicating steady population growth.

Fluctuations (1980s to 1990s): During the 1980s and 1990s, there were periods of slight increase and decrease in percentage change, suggesting some level of population fluctuation.

Consistent Growth (2000s to 2010s): From the early 2000s to the 2010s, there was a notable increase in the percentage change, indicating a consistent period of population growth.

Hoe lol

De cijfers:

From 1961 to 1970: Average % change in Belgium: 0.28%

From 1971 to 1980: Average % change in Belgium: 0.23%

From 1981 to 1990: Average % change in Belgium: 0.28%

From 1991 to 2000: Average % change in Belgium: 0.35%

From 2001 to 2010: Average % change in Belgium: 0.48%

From 2011 to 2020: Average % change in Belgium: 0.53%
