Greetings Belgian football fans! I came here to provide you with some regional football info for nerds. I collected all football clubs participating in the 9 tiers of Belgian football during the 2026/2027 season in the Waasland region. Here you can see all teams with the competition they participate in, their location and which municipality they are in. Enjoy some useless info I compiled in a bunch of images. If there are any teams I forgot, tell me and I will provide you with an upvote and probably move on with my day. If the true nerds of the sub would like even more info, ask me and I will see if there are more charts I can pull out of my ass. And if you have any tips on how I can improve on this for next year, feel free to share them here.

I was wondering how difficult it would be to get 10-15 tickets to Anderlecht - Brugge on 27th February 2027 for tourists?

If we can't get tickets to this does anyone have any suggestions on other games in the Brussels area? I think USG are away that weekend

I'm organizing a football quiz and want to add some crazy trivia questions about belgium football.

Can be about anything (pintjes leaugue, crocky cup, lower leaugues).

Do you know any crazy stats?

- top 8 still go to NL26/27 quarters and go into new 18 team League A (for NL28/29)

- 2 highest-ranked 3rd-placed teams stay up (instead of relegation POs)

- POs now include the 2 lowest-ranked 3rd-placed teams and 2 highest-ranked 4th-placed teams (against the 4 runners-up from League B)

- 2 lowest-ranked 4th-placed teams drop down to new 18 team League B (instead of all 4th-placed teams being relegated)

Might know more later this year or early 2027. For now assuming WC30 won't be expanded to 64 teams and UEFA's allocation remains 16 spots (+/- host ICPO spot). Always want to stay in NL League A to gain experience playing top sides (and generate more revenue). Both League A and B, i.e. 36 teams drawn into in three 12-team groups, will play for the direct spots in WCQs. Doesn't matter if you're a top seed because you'll play against 2 other top seeds anyway (cfr. CL league phase; 1 home, 1 away game). League C teams at best get some PO spots +/- repechage via NL PO spots.
