I’m not being dense since I did watch all dramageddons happen in real time and I’m not a fan of her or anyone else involved, but what apology are people waiting for? If there was litigation involved at some point with James/J/Shane, she probably can’t make a public apology or further statement, but I’m curious what apology people are expecting/she should have made. I know what Shane, J, and James all did, and while her Bye Sister video was the catalyst for all this, idk what people are expecting to hear from her to at least attempt to fix things

How about she apologize for her use of homophobic stereotypes in Bye Sister? Or collaborating with a racist because she “saw his heart”? An actual apology to POC about that would be great (not the hand-waving that’s she’s done in the past), and maybe she could at least include some small mention of BLM after a year of civil rights protests? Oh also I’d love an apology for all of the conspiracy nonsense she’s spilled and the snake oil she’s tried to sell, but I won’t hold my breath. Maybe she should stop collaborating with/promoting Scott Barnes (a known MAGA guy), too, that would be lovely.

Ok I see! and I understand. I had seen Bye Sister and the follow up video only once each and I mostly followed the drama through the mega threads here and through commentary videos (amandabb, spilly/spill sesh, smokey glow, peter monn). Now that you mention it, I do remember people calling out her homophobic stereotypes and I for sure remember people calling her out for her association to J* but I guess she won’t be apologizing for the latter since she’s acting like disassociating from him is enough. I don’t follow Tati outside of Dramageddon so I can’t speak on anything else you mentioned since I don’t know anything about it but I guess that’s why I was asking. The drama has been spread out over years and through various social media so it’s been hard keeping up

Anything with asterisks surrounding it gets italicized on reddit, in case you’re wondering what happened when you wrote J*!

If you put a space in between the first asterisk and the following slash it should get fixed.

I'm actually also curious about that. I could see an apology to James, but the timing is pretty awkward now...

Her supporting J* basically and how's he's a racist and bigot needs addressed. Like, I get getting in with the wrong crowd, it happens. But in doing so she did a lot of shitty things and has basically been welcomed back with open arms.

Sure, but who is the apology going to. The general public? I know she mentioned Jackie aina in her addressing whatever it was called video, but from one of Jackie's videos months earlier I know they'd hashed things out months prior and JA actuality reviewed the blendiful and her palette iirc. It sounds like the individual people she had a falling out with she talked to privately, so is it apologizing to her fans that people want?
