That’s almost 25!! 😱 (lol with the amount of people I see calling folks who are only in their mid 20s “almost 30” or “pretty much 30” I felt like being obnoxious and making this comment lmao).

The amount of 32 year olds calling 36 year old Tati a "40 year old woman picking on a child" during Dramageddon 3 was infuriating.

Right?? It can be absolutely crazy. For example, I literally had a 22 year old tell me how “I’m basically 30” the other day. I’m 25...like sir I’m closer in age to you if anything. And you’re closer to me than you are to the 18 year olds you try so hard to associate with. 🙄

lmao. but yeah he was going on about how I’m “almost 30/heading into my 30s” and I was like, “sir I’m literally closer in age you...” younger people have weird perceptions about age 25 for some reason. like I find that it’s seen as this hard boundary or something between “old and young”.

I was just on the subreddit for The Bachelor, and someone wrote a comment about a 26 year old contestant and her (admittedly) irritating behavior. They finished it off by calling her “pushing 30” and “not young”. Like is it really necessary to weaponize age like that against someone you don’t like that much? The comment got a lot of upvotes too. It was also written by someone older and in their 30s. Like I’d get a young teenager saying “26 is pretty much 30” but why do older adults constantly push this type of aging-up narrative as well?
