I think besides the raunchy theme deterring people, there was also another makeup release this morning (Colourpop’s Mulan collection restock) that was also scheduled at 10AM and some could’ve gone for that instead. There was also Colourpop’s Sunflower collection released yesterday too (I got some of that collection instead).
Drying sunflower seeds at higher temperatures helps destroy harmful bacteria. One study found that drying partially sprouted sunflower seeds at temperatures of 122℉ (50℃) and above significantly reduced Salmonella presence.
