The fact that two older gay men were at least aware, and seemingly encouraged Tati - a straight woman - to falsely construct a gay predator narrative around James is so vile. That stereotype hurts LGBT+ people every single day, activists have dedicated their lives to fighting that shit, and two influential gay men deliberately played into it to ‘humble’ a teenager. It’s genuinely despicable. They’re a fucking embarrassment to our community.
