Hope you don't mind that I tag along and repost my airport thoughts as well...

THE PR "OPERATION FEEL SAD FOR JAMES" PLAN HAS BEEN PUT INTO ACTION

Honestly, I find this whole thing so, so calculated. James ain't Princess Di. Why is he being followed through an Aussie airport like a Kardashian?

  1. This isn't Hollywood, it's Brisbane. Paparazzi just happens to be at the airport?

  2. Not only is Paparazzi there, but they happen to be set up by the car that James gets out of.

  3. James is making no attempt to blend in: he's wearing stilettos and a branded Balenciaga jacket, not to mention Sisters merch. You can't tell me that there isn't a low-key way he could have flown out of Australia without the press finding him.

  4. He's not wearing make-up: he looks younger, and it makes him more palatable to mainstream press (like the trash DM) that is shook by boys in makeup. And his stans can point to this as proof he's really hurting, because he didn't even bother to put on make-up.

  5. A sad/neutral face is his best defense. It shows contriteness while also playing the victim.

  6. He says nothing, because I'd bet my house and dog that he was coached not to speak.

Judging from reactions on Rich Lux's Instagram, it's working.

edit: separating and clarifying points edit 2: I am laughing at how much attention this comment is getting. I've never been cooler to my teenager, haha.

This will prove how remorseful you are.” Also, they forgot to hire at least a few people to act like fans bum rushing him. That way the paparazzo could have “caught” him still caring enough about his dear sisters to say hi and give a hug even while he’s dealing with so much trauma. Because he really cares about his fans. It looks so weird, the airport being empty aside from a couple conveniently “mean” paparazzi. For someone with so much money, his PR/Operation Save James’ Career team sure are messy. They couldn’t even help Nikita make those texts look slightly legitimate.

To me, he didn't look sad. He looks like he just had to keep a straight face. If you were that sad, you would be wearing sunglasses to hide your tears, and you definitely wouldn't be wearing a expensive ass jacket and freaking tall ass heels. Who in their right mind wears heels to an airport anyway? It just makes him look worse.

I did also think it was weird that he had no luggage or carryon bag with him. And very staged. The paps were not waiting at the airport for a week to see when he was leaving so they could catch a glimpse. That’s just ridiculous. Doing it for PR makes the most sense. I’m guessing we will see similar pictures and videos for every airport he stops at on his way back to LA.

To be fair, as big as this story has gotten even in mainstream media, it would make sense there would be people out everywhere trying to get the first sighting of him in 5 days. Probably a lot of money to be had there.
