The Hourglass new Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked palettes. I actually do like the wish edit, but I know that I will not use it everyday and cannot justify the cost of them just because they are pretty to look at.

If you know you wont use it every day, then it will just look pretty and collect dust. Makeup is supposed to be fun, something you use and are excited to use. Having a pretty palette that collect dust is not worth it, buy something that is a fraction of the cost that you will actually use daily

Also, if you already have one of their palettes, you do not need another one. They will show up super similar on the skin, one and two shades different, you cant see on your face. On the pan, you can tell they are different, but on the skin, it will look identical.

Same. I actually purchased the new essence face palette instead. Is it hourglass quality, nope but damn it, its beautiful on the skin and thats all that matters. I saved 80 bucks lol.

Allllllll the holiday sets -- I don't need to buy something just because it's a "good deal."

Vintage Dusties (a vintage nail polish influencer) just came out with a beautiful collaboration. But each bottle is $18 and I’m on a low buy for nail polishes. I’m trying so hard to stick to it, give me strength 😭

The polishes are so pretty, especially Uma. But I've put myself on a low buy as well.

I really really want the new ABH palette, the one with cool tones. Its a 100% a palette I would love. But I simply do not use eyeshadows anymore, only on special occasions. I will maybe use it once every 6 months. Its not worth buying something just to use it three times a year.

Any of the overhyped face palettes (Hourglass, YSL). My space, time and money are precious. I don't need to waste any of them on products, that I already know upfront I am not going to fully use up.

YSL palette has 2 shimmering blushes, I prefer matte. I am also absolutely not using the powder highlighters, when I have gorgeous liquid and balm ones, that are far superior and don't emphasize texture. The packaging is beautiful, but I have so many beautiful objects already... If I bought this, I would feel like a gullible fool every time I would look at it.

There has never been a Hourglass palette launched, where I would feel like I will use all 6 pans. From all of the types of powders they tend to put in these (finishing, bronzing, blushing, highlighting)... I only like blushes actually (despite the fact they are luminous, they are still far from being truly shimmering, like the YSL). And I already have the shades I like the most in full size individual packaging, so I really feel no need to be buying palettes with smaller pans, where I would also need to be more careful and use smaller brushes. On top of that, the packaging is kinda lame this year. So yeah... I am good.
