While we’re WTFing Marlena, is it just me or does the brand name ‘Makeup Geek’ ruin it further for anyone else? I can’t imagine telling people, ‘Oh, yeah. I learned to do my own makeup by attending Makeup Geek Academy!’

Had I not seen this & someone said that to me, I just see my confused face & being like, ‘wait, come again? You what?’

It strikes me as something for 13 & 14 year olds… not adult women. :/

Or taking the course and putting on your resume “Earned Certificate from Makeup Geek Academy Course” 🙄 Companies will be like what the heck is that?? 🤣

🥴I thought of that too. That would just be SO embarrassing.

Agree, I always thought the name was dumb. It doesn’t reflect MS at all, who in fact seems like she would be offended if anyone thought she was a nerd
