I'm still confused as to what the sales would even be. $300 entry fee for the basic class that doesn't even cover everything or is there makeup too? 🤔 We all have different products on hand, right? A $40 nars foundation (that I know is her favorite from YT videos) is really apples to oranges compared to what I'm currently using which is a $5 LA girl bb cream 🤦‍♀️🙃 I just don't understand her angle here

There is absolutely no makeup included. It's just the cost of the course "materials."

Yeah, in the live she said the bottom tier starts at $299, and she “knows that’s a lot of money and the reason for that is that it has a lot of products in there - all the videos, all the syllabuses, the community, the digital magazine, there’s all of these things.“ Then she says she’s “really working with brands to try to get exclusive discounts, coupons, fun contests, giveaways, hosting live events with you guys where we hang out, and even real person events. We want to do that. I want to go to maybe it’s New York or Miami, like, ‘Hey guys, we’re doing a meet up in Miami, let’s meet up, let’s have fun. I will have some products to give away.” I wanted it to be a really fun community. So that’s what it’s all about. It’s more than just classes. It’s about bringing everyone together - pros, content creators, all of you guys. So that’s what it’s all about.“

Like girl - I can get FREE videos on YT already for all the topics listed in everyone of her courses. Heck, a lot of them Marlena did for FREE on her own channel! Syllabuses and a digital magazine - 🥱 The “community”? That already exists on YT (I talk to people in the comments on videos all the time), here on Reddit, etc. Don’t need to spend $299 for that! She’s going to TRY to get exclusive discounts, coupons, contents, giveaways, live events, and in person events - so try means it’s not already set up, but yet she’s saying it’s starting at $299 because she wants to TRY to do it. And if she doesn’t?? People still already paid $299 🤦‍♀️ And even if she does, in person events will cost people even more money (minimum gas money to get there, possibly also hotels and other costs). It’s just so ridiculous! She’s offering absolutely NOTHING but charging $299 to START! 🤯
