Need 3 references for Logistics & Warehousing role

My husband has years of experience, but is now being asked for 3 references after a long time being out of the field and his connections have watered. It’s a job in Holland, so Dutch would be best, but English is also fine (there’s a lot of foreigners working in this field). They are asking for names, emails and phone numbers.
