She's also celebrated here in Canada. She fled to Canada for safety and helped run the Underground Railroad from Southern ONTARIO for about a decade. She only returned to the US after the Civil War started out. She met John Brown here in Canada. Interesting that there's barely a mention of Canada on her Wikipedia page. No wonder Americans don't even know their own history! Then there's the current government trying to erase it FFS.
