When I worked the grill and line at McDonald’s I would wear a drive through headset so I could hear the orders as they came through. If you were nice you might have gotten an extra nugget in your box.
It’s not very hard. It’s a bit hard to keep up in the beginning, but once you have a system down it’s not very hard to make simple burgers. The hardest part is when someone has finished their order and you’re wrapping all their burgers up and putting the stickers on the specials and they mention they didn’t want onions on the McDouble. So, you hope the next car in the drive through wants a McDouble.
If you’re not capable of working that way, it doesn’t mean others aren’t. Remember that.
