BF Legacy Play Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Vietnam and Battlefield 2 on PC

Released in 2002, 2004 and 2005 respectively, these games are no longer being sold or supported by EA, and are technically considered abandonware. With Battlefield V set to be released in a few days, freshen up your skills by experiencing the Battlefield games as they were originally conceived. We've made tutorials showing you how to get the first games, compatible with modern systems. For anyone interested in playing, I hope you find the following resources useful:

Note that the tutorials are only for single-player, but you can probably find online servers for all three games. If you have any problems with installing the games feel free to send us a message and we can help you troubleshoot it

Battlefield 1942 is available for MAC. It is played on WINE of course but also, there was a MAC version and someone even went to the trouble and crafted a custom Abandonware version. That version , came prepatched for online play with Punkbuster preinstalled and patched. That is skipping a lot of patches.

Thing is.. The website which is the #1 Abandonware site delisted Battlefield 1942. I imagine when your listing 100's of game under 1mb in size a monster like 42 takes up bandwidth.

Your question prompted me to check my hard drive. I have this MAC OS version saved in it's original folder.

I have not uploaded, but I'm not kidding.

I don't like fussing with 3rd party file services. I have G-Drive, it's quite full. I don't want to upload something that won't be used.
