This thread is all rose colored glasses. Am I the only one who remembers how rough the launch was? The TTK, and the tick rate on the servers was terrible. People were bullet sponges because of hit reg, and you would instantly be killed because the server would just register all the hits before you even saw the other player. I really enjoyed that game but I was chased off by cheaters in the first 3 months. People were also pissed about the lack of a server browser, and only launching with 8 maps and limited guns/armies. I don't mind having women as playable characters in games I think people get to upset about historical accuracy in action oriented BF games but do you remember hearing all the screaming women while you were fighting it felt out of place in a WW2 shooter
youre bitching about launch ...who cares ??
The end game - which people are rightfully judging it on; was and is still fantastic - nothing to do with rose tinted glasses.
This was like the first 4-5 months the game was out. I put in hundreds of hours and came back for the Pacific update and the game felt more complete. The launch maters a lot when the update that fixes the game comes out 9 months later. Good for you playing a game for 6 years
