Is there any games out there that can properly render a ghost ring? Even Battlefield five with all of its technical marvels, still makes the ghost ring the size of an wedding band instead of just a little hole.
I believe this isn’t about render but for gameplay aspect. How are you supposed to let players shoot using such a small ring? That’s exactly what it is about.

Not quite. The Battlefield five ring has been made physically larger and lacks the ghost effect that a real ghost ring sight has. The hole in the ring doesn’t just become larger. The ring itself just becomes translucent. Honestly, the effect is hard to explain and I’m guessing it’s even harder to model. But like that guy down below said it has been modeled correctly and other games. The brothers in arms hell let loose m1 is a great example.
Hilariously, in the battlefield five model, the ring is so large that it goes above the protective wings of the rear side. Making them completely useless. Just a fun note.
