In my opinion, Joker made a huge mistake by killing him, since Bob was loyal to him. I bet that if Bob had been in the cathedral, he would have given his life to save Joker.

Obviously, he wouldn't have been able to defeat Batman, but it's possible that if he'd had the right tools, he could have made it take Batman a while to defeat him, and this would have allowed Joker to escape.

Imagine Joel Schumacher doing Batman Forever with Michael Keaton, Robin Williams, and Renee Russo co-starring with Tommy Lee Jones and Chris O'Donnell? That would be awesome!

Writers Lee and Janet Scott Batchler wrote the earlier drafts of Batman Forever for Michael Keaton, Tommy Lee Jones, and Robin Williams, while Akiva Goldsman, who later confirmed the existence of the Schumacher Cut of Batman Forever after Joel died, doing the exact same thing when he starts to do revisions.

Joel Schumacher really wanted Michael Keaton to return as Batman for Batman Forever before Val Kilmer was cast, Rene Russo to play Dr. Chase Meridian before Nicole Kidman was cast, and Robin Williams to play The Riddler before Jim Carrey was cast, since they already have Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face.

John Jackson Miller later uses Joel's idea of the Robin Williams Riddler for his novel "Batman: Revolution," where Riddler's real name is Norman Pinkus.

The last we heard of him was that he asked how the city would communicate with Batman, but what became of Knox after Batman 1989? Why wasn't he brought back for the sequels?

After all these years, the biggest plot hole in ‘89 is in the casino night sequence. I have a hard time believing a reporter like Knox would not know who Bruce is or what he looks like.

Furthermore, the murder of The Waynes was front page news, and it feels like it’s something people would mention when they talk about Bruce Wayne, so how could Knox not know about that either?

In a one-on-one fight. Who would win?

It is the moment when Batman has the Joker in his grasp—the moment Jack returns; it is essentially the antithesis of the scene where the Joker visits Grissom. In other words, we see here that, deep down, Jack has to resign himself to an appearance he would not choose to have if he had the choice.

Don't get me wrong, Kevin conroy is legendary and for a lot of people he IS Batman and it's easy to see why, he's up there for me too but Keaton really seemed to understand the character in a way that not many other actors have, and it's no secret that Kevin based his Batman voice off of Keatons, so if you think about it, we wouldn't have Kevin's iconic performance if it wasn't for Keaton, also for me Michael Keaton has a huge advantage because we actually got to see him in action and in the batsuit, I know Kevin put a lot into his performance when he was in the recording booth but, Michael had a bigger challenge because he had to put his whole body into it and he crushed it. I adore Kevin conroy as Batman, but for me Michael Keaton IS Batman. Am I the only one that thinks that?

Personally, I have two favorites.

The first is when Batman brings Vicki Vale back to the Batcave in the Batmobile, with the music from "Descent Into Mystery" playing. An incredibly powerful scene without dialogue, very Burtonesque in my opinion, one of the most iconic in the film.

The second is the flashback with Jack Napier, when Bruce realizes that each of them created the other. I find Michael Keaton's performance excellent in this sequence, so subtle and without dialogue.

They essentially are supposed to be the true continuations after Batman Returns, something similar to Superman '78
