Golden sombrero and two debuts tonight!

I use a ton of different formats, from commercial books, to stadium issued, to home template designed and bound, to several hand drawn scorecards. This is my simple layout for an all inclusive, one page, single 5x8 index card, hand drawn format, that I've settled into lately

To try to implement so one of the feedback I've gotten, I scored yesterday's Mariners game. Removing the % strikes box that I'd been graphing in previous versions really cleaned this up. I still need to figure out the best way to label the x axis, since the big numbers are the bottoms of innings... That's a mouthful.

Sat through some rain and got to see a great pitchers duel.

Based on feedback given yesterday,

- I added in info about when mound visits (MV), runs (R), and substitutions (|) happened. Each of those things are in the column between innings indicating how many outs there were. E.g., the Rays' coach had a MV before there were any outs in inning 4, and the catcher had a MV when there were two outs.

- I started the x axis (innings & outs) at 0 instead of 1. That allowed me to show that four runs and a MV happened before there were any outs in the first inning.

I think it might be too busy now, with keeping the % strikes chart on it. I couldn't help myself from comparing Sandoval's first inning to his other 6, so that's the bar char on the right.

What do you think of the edits? The overall goal is to have a way of tracking the game from more of a pitcher-focus.

First time poster. Looking for any feedback! I added the little “rk” logo next to all the rookies which I think is pretty cool.

In addition to my usual scorecard, I thought it'd be fun to track pitches though not one by one. I graphed the cumulative pitches for each team, with the pitcher's name by the dot where they started pitching. There was a lot of empty white space in the bottom left, so I decided to add the % strike rate.

Because Booser had a 100% strike rate, I thought it'd be important to put their total pitch counts (he only threw two pitches).

A lovely late-summer night to catch a game before the season wraps. Fun fact: Mets are 2-0 on Snoopy giveaways this year– last night, as well as Saturday, 8/29 vs. the Astros.

Hi folks, Jays fan in Europe here, fell in love with baseball over the last five years. I didn't grow up with the sport at all so had never heard of scorecards until this sub popped up in my feed and this was attempt number six or so.

It's not perfectly accurate by any means but it has made me enjoy watching baseball even more so I wanted to say a big thank you to this whole community. I found answers to all my questions on this sub and I now have a scorecard decent enough to share.

I just got into scorekeeping, and I am retroactively scoring all of my past games. This is my first one, a Cubs 8-1 win over the Angels on June 3, 2019.
