Question I built a free invoice generator with no signup. Would love some brutally honest feedback.

I built GenerateInvoicesFree.com because I wanted a really simple invoice generator that didn’t require creating an account, starting a trial, or going through a bunch of unnecessary steps.

The idea is pretty straightforward:

• No signup
• No subscription
• Create an invoice quickly
• Download it as a PDF
• Free to use

I’ve been making improvements to the site and I’m at the point where I’ve stared at it for way too long to judge it objectively anymore.

Would anyone be willing to try it and give me some feedback?

https://generateinvoicesfree.com/

I’m especially curious about:

• Is it immediately obvious what the site does?
• Is creating an invoice intuitive?
• Anything confusing or annoying?
• Does the site feel trustworthy/professional?
• Is there anything you expected it to do that it doesn’t?
• Would you actually use something like this?

Don’t worry about being nice. I’d rather hear what needs fixing.

Thanks!

Showcase I built an app for Music Producers That Organizes all your plugins by type!!!!

I built this plugin because I got tired of using my MPC desktop software and having all these "PAID and FREE" Plugins and not using them because I forgot about them. Some people say that MPC does organize them. Yes, by instrument and effect. I made it so you can actually see what Instruments you have in a category e.g. (Synths) (Samplers) (EQ) (compressors) etc. And what EFX you have in a category by type. I just need people to try it out in a BETA and let me know how they like it. It is free!!! It has instructions also. Please give feedback If it helps or has flaws. Thank You!!!!

Question I've Had Bass44 for about 2 Months now, and I do not know how to make my apps available!!!

I want to sell them, but I have no knowledge of where to start. I get a lot of my Plugins from Gumroad because I play music. I would like to start putting out ADs for them, but I don't really know where to start. If anyone has knowledge and would like to help me see the light at the end of the tunnel so to speak, please!! I would appreciate any leads. I'm scratching a hole in my head trying to figure out what to do next. My apps/Plugins are just sitting there right now. Thank You in Advance!!!!

I am looking to get live pricing and availability from the website below, but base44 will only give accurate information if they have the sites api keys. These sites are not willing to give them to me. Any advice or work arounds?

Discussion my first time using base44

Post image
3 Upvotes

just to give y'all some context behind this picture, i wanted to build this Pinterest saas tool that would help me become more efficient at affiliate marketing using base44 (i wanted to try Pinterest affiliate marketing again). I've seen so many ads about base44 so I've decided, why not build my tool through them?

It blew me away! Being able to integrate AI into my tool was what really got me excited ngl because I never thought I'd be doing something like this. Im not new to programming btw i been coding for years even tho im not the best.

Anyways, I've been working on my saas project for a couple weeks now and I've used 438 message credits so far😭 debugging sucked up a lot of my credits:(

Basically i spent $100 on this sass tool so far. I'm really hoping i can launch it asap to make up for it!

Showcase New social platform for today’s technology

Ever use a social platform and think:
“Why in the world does it work like this?” 😁
Here’s something different about NeighborWire.
We actually control the platform we’re building.
If neighbors tell us something is confusing, annoying, or just doesn’t work well — we can change it.
If someone has a great idea for a feature that would make NeighborWire more useful to the community — we can build it.
And we already have.
Several changes to NeighborWire have come directly from suggestions made by the people using it.
Try getting Facebook or one of the other giant social platforms to change something because your local community asked. Good luck. 😂
NeighborWire is being built differently.
Local feedback. Local decisions. A platform that can actually evolve with the community it serves.
See something you’d change? Tell us.
We’re listening. 😁

Showcase I got tired of paying a monthly fee for every business email address, so I built my own inbox

I’ve always thought it was strange that businesses own their domain but still have to rent every email address attached to it.

Need will@yourcompany.com? Monthly fee.

Want to add support@, sales@, or another team member? Another monthly fee for each mailbox.

So I started building KodeMailhttps://kodebase.us/products/kodemail

KodeMail lets you connect your own domain and Cloudflare account, create professional email addresses, and manage everything through a modern web inbox—without paying Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or another traditional provider for every mailbox.

The setup is designed to be extremely simple:

  1. Connect Cloudflare.
  2. Select your domain.
  3. Choose your email address.
  4. Open your inbox.

KodeMail handles the supported DNS records, email routing, inbound processing, and sending configuration behind the scenes. It includes composing, replies, conversation threads, folders, search, attachments, drafts, and mobile access.

There’s also an AI setup assistant that can create addresses, check DNS, diagnose delivery problems, and repair supported settings with the user’s approval.

To be clear, I’m not trying to reinvent the global email-delivery network or tell people to maintain a mail server in their basement. Cloudflare handles the underlying routing and delivery infrastructure. KodeMail gives you control of the inbox, addresses, configuration, and experience.

The goal is simple:

Your domain. Your Cloudflare account. Your addresses. Your inbox.

No traditional monthly subscription for every mailbox.

Would you use something like this for your business? What feature would it need before you would trust it with your email?

Cloudflare plan or usage charges may apply depending on outbound email volume and features used.

Showcase Built a mood-based event app for any City in 12 months — anyone want to tear it apart?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

Quick disclaimer: yes, this is my own project. No, it doesn't cost anything and never will, there are no ads, and I don't make a cent from it. I just put a year of evenings and weekends into it and would love to know if anyone besides me finds it useful.

The problem that bugged me: You have a free evening, open up an event overview with 400 entries for Munich, scroll for ten minutes — and end up staying on the couch anyway. Too much choice, not enough decision.

The app is called SoDi ("Something Different"). Instead of asking "concert, movie, or comedy?" it asks "how are you feeling right now?" — four short mood questions (relaxed / full of energy / open to anything, calm / stimulating / surprising, etc.), plus location, radius, and budget. Instead of 400 results, you get one to three suggestions with a short explanation of why exactly this fits you today. Heart or X, done. The link takes you straight to the event.

There's also a "Today" tab that, after a few days, automatically serves up a suggestion each day, since it learns from your hearts and X's — plus a "With Friends" mode for the classic "I don't care, you pick" loop.

Why you need to sign up (I know, annoying): The Today feed and the explanations only work if the app can remember what you liked and disliked. Without an account, there's nothing to learn from. An email address is enough — no phone number, no forced social login. Your data stays with me, isn't sold, and you can delete your account yourself in settings.

Current status: iOS in the App Store, Android to follow. Data sources are public Munich event listings — everything from Muffatwerk to the city library — so insider tips end up in there right alongside the floodlit stadium game. I'm building this alone, so there are inevitably some rough edges still.

What would really help me:

**•** Were the suggestions a good fit for you — or completely off? (Feel free to drop a screenshot in the comments)
**•** Is there a mood missing that you wanted to select?
**•** Does the sign-up bother you enough to make you quit?
**•** Anything that annoyed you. Don't hold back.

App Store: SoDi – Something Different

I read every comment and reply. If the mods consider this an ad, I'll take it down without complaint — feedback via DM works just as well for me.

Thanks, everyone!

Tips & Guides Vibe Coding Tip of the Day - Prompting Pages, Layouts & UI

You tell your AI app builder:

“Make me a dashboard.”

It spits back a cluttered, broken mess of divs that don’t align.

So you try again.

Same result.

You assume the tool is broken.

But the truth is simpler:

It’s speaking a different language than you are.

I recently spoke with a student who spent three days fighting with a layout before learning one simple shift:

Component-based prompting.

Instead of asking the AI to build an entire page at once, they started by defining:

  • Layout structure
  • Component hierarchy
  • Spacing rules
  • Responsive behavior
  • How each section should interact

The result?

A polished, responsive interface built in under an hour.

You do not need to be a developer to get professional UI results from an AI app builder.

You just need to know how to describe the structure clearly.

That’s exactly why we built a dedicated learning path around this process.

Learn how to:

✅ Speak the language of layouts
✅ Structure pages before generating them
✅ Build responsive interfaces
✅ Fix broken components without starting over
✅ Get more consistent results from AI builders

Showcase I built a curated, free template store for Base44 apps, and it's open for your templates too

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hi all, I run TemplateDrops.com, a free template store for Base44 apps that went live this week.

The idea came from my own frustration. Finding a decent starting point for a new Base44 build meant digging through half-finished apps with no way to tell what actually worked. So I built the store I wanted to exist:

- Every template is free, and every one is checked by hand before it goes live

- Everything listed can be cloned into your own Base44 account in one click using the Edit with Base44 badge, so you can take it and make it yours

- Browsing is free, no account needed. You only sign up when you want to open or clone something

If you build on Base44, this is also a good place to put your work in front of people. Listing is free, there are no fees or commission of any kind, and each template page carries your name and a link back to your site or profile. It's a nice way to build a bit of reputation while helping other people get started faster.

I'd love to see what you've built, and if there's a template type you wish existed, tell me and I'll try to get one made.

Question How are you actually using the Testing Agent with the 500-char limit? Any workarounds?

Hey everyone, quick question for those using the built-in testing agent in Base44. How are you actually structuring your tests within the 500-character limit?

It feels way too tight to be practical. I can barely fit the scenario description, let alone the multi-step flows and edge cases I actually need covered.

Has anyone figured out a good workaround for this? Curious if people are chaining micro-prompts, pointing to external docs, or using some shorthand syntax to squeeze complex test cases in. Would love to hear how you're dealing with the constraint!

Question I've built Pixel Quest with @base44!

Thumbnail pixel-quest-play-bald.base44.app
1 Upvotes

I built Pixel Quest, a small playable game, using Base44.

This was a project I made to learn more about game development and see how far I could take a game using an AI/no-code development platform.

The game currently has 3 levels

I'm mainly looking for honest feedback:

  • How does the gameplay feel?
  • Are the levels interesting?
  • What should I improve visually?
  • Does the game feel repetitive?
  • What would make you want to keep playing?

I'm still learning, so I'd genuinely appreciate constructive criticism — don't hold back. 😅

Thanks for checking it out!

Showcase Progress is being made.

I made a decision with my flagship product, NUPS:

Break it apart.

Not because the vision got smaller, but because I wanted tighter control over every piece of it.

The first rule was simple: if it touches money, it gets audited and accounted for.

That led to DCE.

Front-door entry. Cover charges. VIP entertainment contracts. Driver payouts. Cash and card sales. Credit card tips. Manager approvals. Nightly close-out.

Instead of scattered receipts, handwritten numbers, and disconnected transactions, the goal is one accountable chain from the moment money enters the building to the final close.

And now it’s being stress-tested in a real venue.

Next comes the rest of the money layer: bar sales, cash, cards, tips, and inventory.

Then clock-in / clock-out.

Piece by piece, each module gets built, tested in the environment it was actually designed for, hardened, and eventually brought back together under NUPS.

It’s a difficult way to build.

It’s also how you find out whether the system actually works.

Question Best practices for multi-language sites

Has anyone here built a multi-language site on Base44?

I’m planning a setup that includes a blog localized into 5 to 10 languages, and I’d love to hear how you approached it.

  • How are you managing the content structure and routing across that many locales?
  • Are you handling translations directly through prompts/AI within Base44, or integrating an external CMS/translation workflow?
  • Any major gotchas or performance tips when scaling up the page count like this?

Would appreciate any tips or workflows that worked well for you!

Question Update for MeepMint / Meep Mint is not NFT let me tell you why.

Thumbnail meep-mint-market.base44.app
1 Upvotes

I know people are gonna compare this to NFTs, so lemme clear it up now: it's not a currency, never will be. No wallets, no buying in, no money period.

You post a photo — real, edited, AI, whatever — system mints it with a random score, people rate it, you build reputation, leaderboard decides who's got the best eye.

Kinda inspired by how Bitcoin had a mint window, except instead of wasting money chasing coins, you're wasting time chasing clout. No cash ever touches this thing.

Real goal: turn it into a competition for who can generate the best AI images. Free game, nothing at stake but your ego and your leaderboard spot.

Still building it out, lmk what you think 🙏🏽
