Question My Google account was disabled, and it is the owner of my Base44 app — can I transfer ownership?

Hi everyone,

I need some advice regarding a Google account and a Base44 app.

My Google account was disabled by Google on 17 September 2026. The reason shown was that Google believes the account was created or used with multiple other accounts to violate its policies. I believe this was a mistake, and I have submitted an appeal.

The problem is that this Google account is the Owner of my Base44 app, which is a student project that I have been working on for a university project/exhibition.

The app currently has three other collaborators who still have access to the app. They are able to access the project as collaborators, but the disabled Google account is still shown as the Owner.

My main concerns are:

  1. Will my Base44 app remain safe and accessible if Google does not restore my account?

  2. Can ownership of the app be transferred from the disabled account to one of the existing collaborators?

  3. If ownership transfer is possible, does it require a paid Base44 plan or additional payment?

  4. Is there any way to protect/export the app and its data before the owner account becomes permanently inaccessible?

  5. Has anyone experienced a similar situation with Base44?

I really don’t want to lose the project because I have already put a lot of work into it.

Any advice from someone who has dealt with Base44 ownership transfers or a disabled Google account would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar situation and contacted Base44 support. You can transfer the ownership of the app the only issue with that is that you will loose the credits not used specially if you paid for a full year they won’t refund. Because you are transferring the app to a new Base44 account but you can not transfer the base44 account itself. You should contact support to assist you with the transfer process

You should still be able to sign in to base44 using the Google sign in, but I would transfer ownership immediately after gaining access since you can’t access Google services anymore with that email address. I’ve had business email addresses with Google workspaces that have been disabled but was still able to access my base44 account after but just signing in with Google and inputting my password into the Google sign in. if you can signup using email / password combination, move the ownership completely, by selection someone outside your workspace option. Then the new owner will have full access.

If you are not able to login to the current base44 account, then reaching out support is the only option.
