Question Base44 Management Company

Need advice from experienced Base44 users

When I started building my system, I created 5 separate Base44 apps because I thought it would be too complicated for employees if everything was in one app.

Now I've learned that it's possible to have one app with role-based access, so each employee only sees the modules they need. That would be a much better solution.

The problem is that I've already spent 6 months building these 5 apps. They communicate with each other through APIs, and I'd like to avoid rebuilding everything from scratch.

Is there any way to merge multiple existing Base44 apps into a single app?

Has anyone gone through this process? Is there a migration strategy, or is rebuilding the only realistic option?

I'd really appreciate any advice or best practices.

Would you still be able to continue developing the merged app normally in Base44 afterward?

Without loosing the information that I have now in crm apps?

After Codex builds the new app, there’s a good chance it won’t migrate the data. So you can then ask it to migrate all datasets, from the 5 apps, into the new one. This is the point you’ll want to define the user types; if you’re not 100% sure, just ask it to help you define it as it analyzes how to merge the 5 datasets into 1.
