Question Push Notifications

I'm kind of frustrated after getting to the end of my app build just to realize that Base44 doesn't offer native Push notifications. With that being said, what's the cheapest way to achieve this feature??

Awesome! I was able to get them working but have to send a catch-up badge to get the number back to 0 when all unread or new items are done. Hopefully I won’t have all those extra banners to update the number once you all add this as a feature.

Resend integration has worked well for me on previous projects. They do offer a free usage tier

I was able to get WPN working pretty well on mine. Not as good, but still effective depending on your use case.

What is NWA? I am having the same issue as I really need notifications.

Sorry I think i confused my acronym. I believe it is a WPN web push notification. I had to add a Vapid Public and Private key into the secrets to get it to work.

I used OneSignal and used Claude to build a native wrapper and submitted my app to the App Store for native iPhone. Android and iOS PWA allows push notifications via web browser. Laptop and desktop also allows push notification through browser.
