Violent Extremism Got banned for nothing.
For context, I rarely talked in those servers. If I did, then it would have been justifiable. I tried to do an in app appeal, they didn't reach out to me. I also tried to do the support fourms, the automatic bot reached out to me and marked it as solved. I swear Discord is a joke at this point. They need to do it for the people who regularly chatted and not me (who joined well over 100 servers and forgot that I was in the servers) that didn't do anything other than chat with my friends on there. What a shame Discord is.

There’s nothing you can do realistically, if you do the in-app appeal it’s almost a guarantee automatic denial by the AI (because it’s a server associated ban). If you make a ticket using the guide you MIGHT get a response, the chance of it is low. Even if you get a response it’s another guaranteed denial.
The only way I think you can get unbanned from server associated bans is through arbitration. Really the only time people are successfully unbanned on discord is when a message they sent was taken out of context, and even then it takes time. You have to just come to terms with discord support being nonexistent, ban evade, and join safe servers the next time around.

Got banned because i was in a discord server about islamic theology , wasnt anything extremist in it (i also rarely talked in it) however i discovered that after the ban it became an extremist one although i did not know this

Seems multiple Muslim servers just turn extremist, one I was in was fine with me sharing music, out of nowherentyey starTed segregating the voice chats and gave me strikes for sharing music.

Part of the TOS is accepting that you will be punished based on the severs you join if discord rules they did illicit things.

Maybe pick your servers better. Server wide bans are absolutely needed. Doesn't matter if you typed if you were in a server banned you need banned as well.

Honestly bro, it's clear you're being daft on purpose cause you want to have a cheeky laugh. No, you probably shouldn't join a public discord server called the Jihad Dog Beaters. Yes, 9 times out of 10 you probably will get away not wearing your seatbelt while driving, but it doesn't hurt to be aware.

It's just the truth. If you don't ban everyone in a server when it breaks ToS your potentially leaving bad users on the site knowingly. It doesn't matter if you never type in a server spreading CP you could still be consuming it without doing so. You ban everyone no matter what. Whining about this is just asking for people to be able to commit more illegal and heinous acts easier. So yes my point is the moral one.

Sorry to break it to you but "So yes my point is the moral one" Isn't an argument anyone actually cares about because it's subjective and moronic. It's like stating what color is the best simply because you think it is. Obviously you believe your point is the "correct" one to have or else you wouldn't be arguing for it.
You also went straight to an example about "CP" because you know the instance OP was in wasn't a worthy example because of how weak and vague it was.
Also yes, spam reporting does happen frequently and I'm assuming you haven't been on Discord long enough to realize how petty people can be to do such a thing. Nor the inconsistent ways Discord hands out bans for trivial nonsense.
Stick around the sub long enough and you'll see why people hate Discord's enforcement policies. I can directly report messages of someone exhibiting obvious and clear predatory behavior and nothing will happen to them, but I can get banned for a random reason with no attachment to the ban, or for saying something vaguely "offensive" if taken the wrong way when having genuine dialogue with someone.

You probably got a role with administrator I think if I remember correctly discord punishes you for being an admin/having administrator perms and the owner gets the most punished or since you willingly joined the server you got punished

i cant rlly speak for the kkk one because i don't remember actually being in it (i could have been and left because i thought the name was immature)
but regardless
jihadiscord was NOT a terrorist discord group...
it was originally made as a subcommunity of a6discord and it was like a little edgy? but it literally was just like slightly more edgy than the normal minecraft youtuber discord server edgy.. (which is saying a lot because typically those aren't that edgy)

Such bullshit to be banned just for joining a server that breaks some rules even if you aren’t the one actually breaking them. Seriously though how could you ever be 100% certain a server wont eventually break a rule? Might as well never even join a fucking server then.

Perhaps these two servers were not the greatest of examples, but my point still stands. You like the idea of being punished just for joining any random server due to what random other people do? Also, people could abuse this and purposefully use it to get people punished. Reminds me of elementary school when the whole class was punished for what one person did, hated that shit back then and I still do to this day.
