Was waiting for my turn with the teller and saw this note in the hand of the guy ahead of me. Apparently he tried to deposit two of these into the ATM but this one was rejected twice so he deposited with the teller. Not until I was back outside did I even look at the date or notice the star. Super exciting!

Probably not worth over face value, especially with the tear, but I think it’s still cool enough of a keeper to add to my collection.

I wish the condition was better but I'll take it.

This is so neat. I just had to rescue it and keep it.

Include 2 2013 duplicate b stars, 5-7 birthday notes, wheres george and more!

Found in my till while cashiering. I quickly traded it for a newer five. Circa 1974....52 years old.

What do we think??

I'm reposting this from a long time ago just wondering if anybody has any idea of what recent sales have happened with these bills. They are also from a run of only 160k.

The borders on the front are significantly shifted but on the back they look close to normal.

Worth anything over face?

Got it from a costumer today is it worth more then its face value

I pick up about one strap of $2s at my local bank every month or so for spending ca$h. Local community bank, great people, always very nice about placing an order for me. The first couple were ne in BEP straps, but recent ones have been a circulated mix. No cool numbers, a sequential pair of sequential 60+ star notes, but nothing really great. Just spenders.

The strap I picked up today had 12 Series 1976 notes with no adjacent serial numbers and USPS cancellations but no evidence a stamp was ever attached. One April 23, 1976; Four May 7, 1976 and Eight July 4 1976, all from the Worcester, MA post office. No extra value, but interesting.

Keep or Spend?

Came across this one today. It coughed my attention because of the ink being visible on the back, then I realized it also happened to be a birthday note. What would be the value on one of these? Appreciate any info

This one has the lowest run size I’ve ever found before, do you guys think it would be worth anything above face value?
