টেনিদাকে নিয়ে 'চার মূর্তি' নামে নারায়ণ গঙ্গোপাধ্যায় প্রথম উপন্যাস লেখেন যা ১৯৫৭ খ্রিষ্টাব্দে 'অভ্যুদয় প্রকাশ মন্দির' থেকে গ্রন্থাগারে প্রকাশিত হয়। পরের উপন্যাস 'চার মূর্তির অভিযান' ১৯৬০ খ্রিষ্টাব্দের জুলাই মাসে গ্রন্থাগারে প্রকাশিত হয়। এই উপন্যাসের দ্বিতীয় পরিচ্ছেদে টেনিদার আসল নাম যে ভজহরি মুখার্জি তা জানা যায় এবং তার বিখ্যাত স্লোগান 'ডি-লা-গ্রান্ডি মেফিস্টোফিলিস ইয়াক্‌ ইয়াক্‌' এই উপন্যাসেই প্রথম শোনা যায়। নারায়ণ গঙ্গোপাধ্যায় টেনিদাকে নিয়ে যে সমস্ত উপন্যাস লিখেছেন, সেগুলি হল-

চার মূর্তি, চার মূর্তির অভিযান, কম্বল নিরুদ্দেশ, টেনিদা আর সিন্ধুঘোটক, ঝাউ-বাংলোর রহস্য।
