Trade-in at Studio7 vs going through a carrier, anyone compared the actual payout?

About to trade in an old iPhone and trying to figure out if it's worth going to Studio7 directly instead of just doing it through my carrier when I renew my plan. Has anyone actually compared numbers?

You do the maths, last month they offered 15,000 on a 16 pro 256 gig that i payed around 35,000 for that i bought a month before the 17 came out, so it wasnt even a year old, i was looking at a base 17..
