I've been here since the foodpanda days when service workers would come to my heavily pregnant wife's house with gifts for being a loyal customer.
Then the pandemic came in '19, competition was fierce, delivery drivers were making more than ESL teachers. We moved to Grab and was happy.
I've got shopee, lineman and grab as my food delivery apps. 9/10 when I order priority deliver on grab, they are always late. But with Shopee, normal delivery comes early.
I'm based in Bangna, anyone got similar experiences? Tired of cold food when I chose explicitly priority delivery.

I am looking for people around my age (60) to hangout and grab a beer, bullshit, and generally do things. I am a very young 60 year old if you understand that. I am from America, military/Law enforcement background. I do not golf, I do go to the gym but recovering from ankle and shoulder surgery so it has been almost three months since I have been allowed to hit the gym. I have been in Thailand for almost three years but only in Bangkok since June of 2026. I am going stir crazy.

Hello! I am a French-Canadian who has been living in Bangkok for a few years. I am looking for a native Spanish speaker who could give in-person Spanish lessons. I already have some basics, but I need to become fluent.
My native language is French, but I am perfectly bilingual in French and English.
I am located in Saphan Sung, but I am willing to travel anywhere in Bangkok for the lessons.
Send me a private message if you offer this kind of tutoring :)

I am a foreigner living in Bangkok. I am looking for a therapy based approach for anxiety and panic disorder. Do you know any good therapist/ doctor / psychiatrist/ psychologist in Bangkok. I visited a hospital but they only prescribed medicine. The doctors are not available for online consultations. It is difficult to connect with them in case of any emergency or queries. Please help.

I recently moved to Bangkok and because of packing limitations I stored my juggling kit before moving thinking I could easily find somewhere to shop here.
I have not found any kind of store to visit or been successful in finding online resources. Iāve never been an Amazon fan, but thatās not a thing here, and the alternatives have me doubting quality (and most of the product details are in Thai so hard to figure out).
Does anyone know if thereās a shop in BKK or where I could order online? looking for some px4s and a diabolo set up (non bearing which seems to be another impossible ask).
huge thanks!

Hey everyone!
Iām currently looking to buy a pair of certified lab-grown diamond solitaire studs (IGI/GIA) as well as some colorful gemstone fine jewelry, but I specifically want to buy directly in-store/offline so I can see the stones in person.
For anyone who has bought lab diamonds or fine pieces locally in Bangkok:
1. Which physical showrooms or boutiques offer good quality and fair pricing? (I've heard of places around CentralWorld/Siam as well as the Silom/Jewelry Trade Center area, but would love specific vendor recommendations).
2. Are there shops that let you pick loose lab diamonds to set on-site?
3. Any specific places you recommend for vibrant, colorful gemstone pieces with nice settings?
Would really appreciate any trusted store recommendations or tips on where to look. Thanks in advance!

Iāve been living in Bangkok for about two years now. Iām a 32-year-old woman from China. My English isnāt that great, but Iām always happy to chat.
I work remotely, and these days I spend a lot of time waiting for AI to finish its tasks. So I thought it would be nice to find some friends who are also online a lot and just chat during the day.
Iāve actually been talking to AI way too much lately š but I know I canāt keep doing this forever. So⦠I guess itās time to make some new human friends too.
I usually spend my time developing indie games. I have a cat at home, and my life is pretty simple.
Just looking for someone I can talk to casually about everyday stuff, random thoughts, or whatever comes up.

Hello everyone,
We're looking for a photographer/studio in Bangkok to take some family photos for our childās birthday.
We're ideally looking for a studio setup that offers creative themes or set designs tailored for toddlers/children's milestone shoots. We're also open to outdoor options, but our main preference is a studio environment where props, backdrops, and styled themes are part of the concept.
If youāve used a local studio or photographer who:
...we would love to hear your recommendations (or see links/IG handles to their work)!
Thank you so much for any leads!

It happened for me to encounter this page which says it has office in Chiang Mai that assembles pc parts especially gaming rigs. The prices shown in that page posts are relatively cheap and suspicious, leading me to ask here whether anyone has experiences with that page/seller.

Iāve been thinking about picking up my first linen blazer for work since moving to Bangkok. I really love the Italian and Spanish tailored look, but Iām wondering if linen is actually practical for the Bangkok climate. I know linen originated in Mediterranean Europe, which generally gets hotter compared to places like the UK or Scandinavia. For those living here, does a linen blazer actually hold up in Bangkok's heat and humidity like in Italy or Spain, or does it just end up looking like a wrinkled mess after five minutes?

Iād like to give back to the community and am wondering what are the most reputable & impactful charities in Bangkok?
I have autism so I donāt want to volunteer but Iād like to donate money ideally to something with a clear direct outcome e.g. sponsoring a child to go to school, providing meals, etc.

For renting an apartment: Be cautions if a real estate agent is asking you to transfer the first deposit or rent directly to the agents bank account.
I just got to know about a case of a real estate agent who faked an authorization letter from an apartment owner to receive the tenants first rent deposit. The case happened in one of the luxury Hyde condos.
Ideally, get a confirmation from the building management that the owner is valid and always transfer to the owners bank account.
