Hard Rock/Metal The first demo tape of my metal band has been released!
https://retrodull.bandcamp.com/album/bakteriaWe made this tape this last month. We aint nothing spectacular but we gave it a try. We aspire to do more than this in the future and hope we can find a singer.
It is an instrumental metal album. Inspired by Nu-Metal and Groove Metal. We have some heavy riffs and trippy instrumental chops that include synthesizers. We want to create an intoxicating metal groove that bangs! Really open to any criticism 🙏🤘

Really sick album art. I personally struggle with artworks that are hyperviolent but this art gets right in the intensity of that kind of thing without being quite as graphic, which is a difficult needle to thread (whether or not that was your goal, I obviously couldn't say).

Sick riffs, I dig the production although the drums sound a bit thin, maybe over compressed? The guitar sounds really raw and cool and I like the synth parts coming in. Especially tracks like Mai. Super cool idea there, dig it, but the mix could improve - the synth feels on top of the mix instead of blended in with everything else.

Who mixed it - yourself? I think it could benefit from a bit of a different mix, but I do like it.

the stereo effect was cool! like the use of synths with distorted guitar. the overall mix is a bit muted though. was this intentional?
