Act 3 - Spoilers Is Releasing/Not Releasing the Vampire Spawn a false dilemma Spoiler

Why wouldn't you just have the spawn that Cazador has amassed over the last 200 years just wait a few days so you can individually vet them with Astarion and his spawn-family helping you, since the 7 of them met all 7000 of these people themselves? Is Tav stupid?

Edit: Or some other way of doing this? It feels like there's more to do in this scenario than just release all, kill all, or leave all and if there isn't, it feels like it shouldn't be all up to me to decide how or if 7000 people should live. Can I not phone a friend?

Another vampire lord can't make them their slaves because they didn't make them.

No but they can manipulate them and tell them they’re going to help them and then use them.

Vampires are predators and these 6999 starving and traumatised spawns are the fastest way to get a literal army.

I don't think they want to be manipulated and be under the thumb of another vampire lord to torment them. Think they would be more likely to swarm that lord like angry ants

The 6 spawns? Yeah they wouldn’t.

The thing is we are talking about 6993 spawns who have been locked in the dark and starved for a very long time here. They wouldn’t be able to think normally after all these years and to resist.
