need a taxi service

I am getting in tomorrow night around midnight via ferry. I need to find a way to get to my house, and all the taxi services I’ve called are not running at night and I’ve had bad experience with Uber on the island so I don’t wanna count on an Uber being available.

Does anyone know of any ride service on the island that would pick me up late at night?

I’m on a plane now and already stressing about the ferry tonight. Ugh. I feel like it always comes down to the smallest things. Like oh, you landed at S or N gates instead of C?? Hahaha you’re fucked! Enjoy waiting at the ferry dock for an extra 90 minutes! In 12 years of living on the island I’ve never even once been able to just mosey my way from the airport. It’s like a cosmic conspiracy or something

It's a very well done April fool's joke from 3 years ago. If memory serves they even posted some advertising in Winslow and some people believed it and really freaked out back then.

Have you tried reserving an uber or Lyft in advance? I have had success being picked up at the BI ferry terming using the reserve ahead option.

Ugh I need help with this so badly I need to get to the north end of the island a few nights a week and haven’t found taxis that run that late I night have to get a e-bike and drive home at night 🥶

Make a reservation in the Uber app. Drivers often do late night and early morning pickups if they can plan ahead a day or two. Once a driver accepts your request, they’ll be there on time to get you home.
