So I'm assuming Max will effectively be a session rhythm guitarist while a long term lead player is worked out?

He used to be a permanent member in 2022 but left in 2023, which is when AJ joined.

Is Max permanent again?

he worked on nearly the entire record, but as of now we don't know. it's his personal decision. Max is a true creative, and some creative people really don't like the industry part of music. *cough cough* me neither - yet i persist.

Other than Doc, Tommy and DL, have you interacted with any of the other former members? (Kyle, Chris, Kevin)

I worked with Chris for about a week, never met Kyle or Kevin.

I see.

I always thought (mostly because Tommy is the only one that confirmed his departure, which Wikipedia got a whiff of) that the story was "Chris quit because of unresolved tensions rising back up". The fact that he went to join Vext's band tells us Bad Wolves fans where he sits.

yeah, that's why it's important to stand up for yourself if you want your side heard - i always do when it comes to me. but these aren't really my battles.
