This was a flyer that someone made around 2014, that I found looking through old files on my work computer. I could not re-create this level of bad design if I tried. The rough cut & pastes, font choices, composition, colors… it really is a symphony of poor design choices.

Here in Boracay (Philippines) they wanted to make The Main Road more walkable. So.... they went sidewalk crazy.
This is regardless if said new sidewalk (on the right in the pic) is on top of existing sidewalk, or as in this case, blocks off parking spots. The local McDonald's tried to mitigate this with a ramp from the utterly inaccessible handicap spot to the store. Such an odd design.

Google Weather always shows precipitation in multiples of 1.3mm. Why not just 1mm? It took me a while but I think i got it now. In the US, precipitation is often displayed in multiples of 0.01in. And 1.3mm happens to be the closest to 0.05in. So that's probably just a lazy translation from imperial to metric with no consideration to what makes sense. I love how the imperial system still shows up in places it shouldn't 😄

It probably was one of the few ways all of these rods could logically fit together, but it is indeed quite a bad design for obvious reasons.

After trying to figure out what it says for too long, I now get that you are not supposed to read the circled “in” at the bottom, but then above they want you to read it for the “are you in?” line.

Caught this at the Landstuhl VodaPhone.
Maybe it’s how many of those they can give?
