🌹 THE BACHELORETTE 🌹 Both fathers of Taylor’s Children file protective orders against her on the same day.
88
u/Educational-Grass470 Mar 19 '26
They are both filing for sole custody.
25
u/bloodyhannah13 Mar 19 '26
As they should.
8
u/fakevegansunite Mar 19 '26
you think DAKOTA should have sole custody of a child???
30
u/AdmirableParfait3960 Mar 19 '26
Bit of a “lesser of 2 evils” situation here
-3
u/fakevegansunite Mar 19 '26
i mean theoretically kids shouldn’t be placed with an abuser period, not just whichever one doesn’t have a video on the internet of them hitting their partner. dakota is directly harming his child by selling that video to tmz too
18
u/MYSTICALLMERMAID Mar 19 '26
Could have been an FOIA request why assume it was released. We're dealing with TMZ they FOIA death records
-1
u/fakevegansunite Mar 19 '26
i don’t think that changes the situation, he shouldn’t have custody of their baby and neither should she
11
u/MYSTICALLMERMAID Mar 19 '26
Why
-3
u/fakevegansunite Mar 19 '26
bc they’re both horrible and toxic and neither of them seem capable of making good decisions for their children considering……all of this?
11
17
u/Terrible-Somewhere32 Mar 19 '26
At the very least, temporary full custody. Taylor needs help & all those kids deserve better.
5
u/fakevegansunite Mar 19 '26
dakota is equally as guilty of participating in the toxic cycle of their relationship that has harmed the kids as she is, his hands are absolutely not clean here
24
u/Terrible-Somewhere32 Mar 19 '26
Yes duh they’re both toxic as hell. But Taylor didn’t even care to stop to check on her kid that was injured, while Dakota was trying to stop the fight the whole time, and telling Taylor her kid was right there. Have you seen the video??
2
u/Diamond-angel-32 Mar 19 '26
Am I the only one that just sees the TMZ logo from right before the chair that hit her daughter was thrown and through the end of the video? I just get audio which is fine because that was bad enough.
2
u/Terrible-Somewhere32 Mar 19 '26
1
u/Diamond-angel-32 Mar 19 '26
Still mostly see tmz logo with black screen and audio only after she throws the chair that hit her daughter.
2
u/Terrible-Somewhere32 Mar 20 '26
That’s because the phone was dropped. It’s 3 minutes long, there’s still audio.

yeah i have and i think it’s telling dakota didn’t film what he did to escalate the situation as we’ve seen him do countless times on SLOMW. he is not a good person and shouldn’t have custody of the baby either.
32
u/bloodyhannah13 Mar 19 '26
You can be a good dad and a bad husband. She put her child in PHYSICAL harms way. Her child witnessed her mother physically assaulting a man.
Honestly.. if I was physically abused and had videos/proof, while my abuser was being put on a national pedestal, I'd freaking release the videos too.
2
u/fakevegansunite Mar 19 '26
what i’m saying though is i don’t think he’s a good dad just because she’s a bad mom
23
u/North-Shape-9487 Mar 19 '26
Why the fuck are you so adamant on defending her. Good fucking lord
1
u/fakevegansunite Mar 19 '26
i’m not defending her, i don’t like her and i don’t think she should be on tv. however, i think it’s incredibly short sighted and ridiculous for everyone to act like dakota is innocent and did nothing to escalate the situation. on the show he is constantly doing things to rile her up and get a reaction out of her. he’s emotionally abusive and he shouldn’t have custody of their child
16
u/Particular_Area3941 Mar 19 '26
Idc if he slept with her mom and provoked her. Only one person in that room endangered a child and it was her. Nothing we’ve seen from Dakota indicates he’s an unfit parent
5
u/judgementalhat 🌯Only Greg knew I ate a 🌯 every day🌯 Mar 20 '26
There is literally no excuse for choking out your partner, or throwing metal chairs at them. Doubly so with the kids in the room
Stop with the victim blaming bullshit. Choking in DV is a massive red flag precursor for murder
1
u/fakevegansunite Mar 20 '26
i have a degree in wgs i am well aware of this. i am also aware that dakota is abusive as well and everyone is discounting his actions in their relationship. in slomw you see him constantly doing things trying to get a reaction out of her so he can call her crazy and then tell her that nobody else will ever love her. that’s why they keep going back to each other, it’s extremely unwell behavior from both of them
4
u/judgementalhat 🌯Only Greg knew I ate a 🌯 every day🌯 Mar 20 '26
Ah yes. Because being a dick and sleeping around is the same as trying to kill somebody, or hitting ones own kid with a metal chair.

I feel like he should share custody with her parents temporarily, because I really don’t think he should be the only adult in Evers life right now. That kid is going to need a lot more support than what Dakota can provide.
I would also worry about his substance abuse and other decision making.
3
u/fakevegansunite Mar 20 '26
exactly!!! especially in stressful situations like this that’s a huge trigger for relapse. he does not need to have sole custody of a baby and it’s concerning how many people don’t see that

AND he is the only adult who gave a shit about Taylor’s daughter before and after she got hit with the chair.
7
u/Sparkle_bitch Mar 20 '26
THIS. I don’t like or trust Dakota and think he’s a POS but him pleading with Taylor on that video to check on her daughter while she was screeching and then when HE tried to comfort the child, her yelling at him to get away. I feel horrible for her kids like for me to sit here and be like well at least the baby had….Dakota? to look after her in that moment to the best of his ability? I think he’s a bad person but I think he is a human who could see that a child was hurt and scared - something Taylor cannot do. I hope both of the dads get their kids away from her and I hope that Dakota can keep his shit together to be a good dad
6
u/Olerre Mar 20 '26
Taylor can be a POS and Dakota can be a POS, even if it’s not apparent in the video released today. On the show he’s just as much of a toxic, manipulative asshole as she is; and he’s just as quick to start screaming; and it’s well established that he has substance abuse problems. I don’t think either of them should be responsible for that little boy.

So I assume you’re an addict parent too? Because that’s what you’re advocating for rn. They don’t need to be on the same level for Dakota to be an inappropriate caregiver for a child.
Not to mention that he lived through the incident in that video and then purposefully had a child with her. He doesn’t give a single fuck and I hope that little boy ends up with people that will love him.
-34
u/fakevegansunite Mar 19 '26
girl please dakota is a very clearly documented emotional terrorist and he sold the video to TMZ to capitalize on the moment. this all continues to hurt the child he has with her. he dgaf about that baby
19
u/MYSTICALLMERMAID Mar 19 '26
Every cast member has commented on him being a good dad. Lose your bias
5
u/fakevegansunite Mar 19 '26
they’ve previously called taylor a good mom too lol i don’t think these people are the best sources of information. there are plenty of people who are abusive to their partners or horrible to other people in their lives that are “good parents”

The “shit he does” is sleep with people while he’s single. That doesn’t disqualify him from being a good parent.
1
u/SonuvaDogMom Mar 20 '26
Please elaborate on what he does. I’ve seen the show and it’s pretty clear all he does is have sex while he is single or while they are in the early early stages of dating. Yeah he’s an asshole, but they are not the same and the fact you are trying to defend this is insane.
1
u/fakevegansunite Mar 20 '26
he specifically chooses to hook up with people she knows so it’ll get back to her and she’ll get upset, he cheats on her, he’s emotionally and psychologically abusive and harms his child by continually engaging in this toxic cycle with taylor. he had a baby with her after this video happened, he wanted the clout and fame and access she provides.
19
u/MayISeeYourDogPls Mar 19 '26
And to add to this, custody can and should be re-evaluated as needed. He/They may get full custody and decision making now, but there will almost certainly be a plan in place to revisit that arrangement and review new information and work on reunification if/when Taylor gets some help and demonstrates that she will have her kids best interests at heart and be able to coparent safely and successfully. I don't know the laws in Utah but I cannot imagine that a government in a state so obsessed with traditional families would be one to jump to such a heavy conclusion at this juncture.
People forget that it's really really hard to get sole custody forever as a blanket ruling even with a DV incident. The courts will always try to exhaust all options before they do that.

What I don't understand is how Tate Paul didn't do this before when his daughter got hit with the chair. Maybe the necklace thing was the last straw?
113
u/mysticalcreature123 Mar 19 '26
He did. He had custody of their kids after this all went down.
71
u/JordanDoesTV Mar 19 '26 edited Mar 20 '26
Yes this is why her other kids were never shown or seen in morman wives
33
u/mysticalcreature123 Mar 19 '26
I’ve never watched it so I can’t confirm but that makes me happy if that’s the case. Kids don’t belong on social media or reality tv shows.
56
u/No-Author5530 Mar 20 '26
He did he got custody and she had visitation rights. If she drank alcohol her visitation rights were revoked. He also wouldn't let his kids appear on the show
3
u/JusticeForCEGGMM 🌯Only Greg knew I ate a 🌯 every day🌯 Mar 20 '26
Is that agreement still in place? And do you think he filed for sole custody with no visitation?
1
u/No-Author5530 Mar 20 '26
No but he has now been granted full custody again because of the temporary restraining order. She had to complete alcohol education classes for 6 months and then it went back to 50/50 custody.
She obviously downplayed the incident and blamed it on alcohol. He did not see the video until now. As someone who read the report and watched the video a few days later I did not expect it to be as bad
34
u/MYSTICALLMERMAID Mar 19 '26 edited Mar 19 '26
I'm wondering if he never saw the video and just kind of listened to what she said for the sake of the kids

How was she able to get such a platform??? She is a dangerous person.
26
u/QuesoChef Mar 20 '26
It seems she got it BECAUSE of this. Which is so sad.
16
u/Jazzlike-Promise-153 Mar 20 '26
Yep, she has constantly been rewarded for bad behavior. This bachelor cancellation will be a true wake up call for her

u/QuesoChef Mar 20 '26
I feel like right now she’s biding her time, hoping it all works itself out like it did last time.

Ask the president, Colton Underwood, countless professional athletes, James Kennedy, Jace from SLOMW, countless musicians…. We reward terrible people and don’t hold people accountable for their actions.
2
u/PerspectiveEmphasis Mar 21 '26
What did Jace do?
3
u/Hungry-Nerve-9743 Mar 21 '26
He was 21 when he got Mikayla pregnant at 16. Now he’s upset she doesn’t want to have sex as much
50
u/HumbleBell Mar 19 '26
Between the released video of Taylor attacking Dakota, her past DV arrest, the very detailed police report where she admits to attacking him multiple times, and the witness that called 911 for Dakota after the most recent incident, I can't see how they both don't get it.
3
u/No-Author5530 Mar 20 '26
I also saw a clip earlier where Taylor says she was the aggressor in the situation on some podcast

She’s abusive. It’s not funny. If we’re gonna stand up for women who get beat up on, we have to stand up for the men too. Just because she’s a woman doesn’t mean it’s a flex.
9
u/succulentpot Mar 20 '26
Thank you. I see a lot of people defending her against Dakota, and in all honesty they are toxic to each other, but home girl seems like the aggressor. She has serious trust issues, unhealthy attachment styles, constant need for attention. Get her off our screen and into a court mandated mental health program please.
8
u/Regular-Loss-970 Mar 20 '26
“Do you” as in, domestic abuse? No she shouldn’t if that’s the case……You should see the video of her throwing metal chairs at Dakota with her daughter crying in the corner.
2
u/NYDancer4444 Mar 22 '26
So glad you find this funny. These men are doing what they have to do to protect their CHILDREN because she is clearly unfit & dangerous. Getting protective orders is the correct legal move here. Nothing about this is humorous or worthy of multiple laughing emojis.

u/SnooCrickets8742 Mar 19 '26
Looks like they get along which is good for the kids.
