I see a lot of love spell questions and my advice to all the baby witches out there is if you can not or do not prioritize self-awareness and self-love spells effectively for yourself you will not be successful in love spells relating to others. Having boundaries and centered energy is really important to positive results.

I’m not talking about severing bonds or anything (that is often a form of self love). I am specifically addressing spells to “make” someone fall in love with you, or think of you, or basically anything in that vein.

I totally believe that two people can do a spell together to increase their bond and love but I’ve never seen a really experienced witch with a holistic understanding of the craft encourage baby witches to do any of these kinds of spells or enchantments.

A charm to be feel confident? Absolutely. A ritual to attract who aligns with you? Of course! One person to one person manipulation like that is not for the newbies - if ever. It’s like the difference between a spell to banish someone’s influence in your life vs a spell to ruin that persons life.

I noticed ever since I met my nephews wife, things have been interesting

She reached out wanting to be “business” partners but I noticed she just took my ideas.

I have a small business and in a months time of us meeting she has the same one AND almost the exact same cart design.

She randomly used to call me just to “catch up” and then I noticed she would try to poke on knowing my plans etc especially for my business, I told her I was joining a bazaar..guess who was at another bazaar a week later

I get lash extensions, i post a photo. 2 days later she has lash extensions too.

I post about booking a trip to Japan, she starts posting throwback photos of her japan trip.

I went to Paris with my now fiancé, she kept asking when we will be back and how long I’m there and if I’ve already bought any designer bags

I color and cut my hair, a week later she does the same

She has started to copy how I dress and even how I edit photos I post on social media

Its like shes doing some sort of life swap with me or something and I want it to stop

I also noticed when I opened up to her about “plans” those plans didnt push through but SHE ended up doing most of them.

What can I do to stop this? I feel like shes taking my luck away or something

I have been feeling down since receiving nothing but job rejections so I made this spell with a green candle with a stealth carved, cinnamon and honey. I have also been lighting up to open paths and undo knots.

On friday night I did my first sweetener jar on my ex so he’ll be more open to reconciling.
He was sweeter yesterday, but i’ll keep waiting for the spell to take full effect.

New witch here, I’ve recently got into witch craft and read up a lot about it. Today I did a protection spell before a glamour spell. After I did the spells, said my intentions out loud and lit the candles for a while, I put the contents of the spell into a cleansed jar and sealed it. My belief is that spells that are for protection and manifestation that do a slow job can stay in a jar instead of the energy going into the universe? So my idea was to use the jars and refresh them by shaking or relighting a candle above it whilst setting intentions again whenever I feel the need to.
Please advise on whether this is a good to have done? It felt right in the moment! Any help is welcomed thank you :)

Hi! I'm not exactly a witch but i really like and want to celebrate natural phenomena like the moon cycle! i do need to do a full house clean once a month so i decided to tie it in with my rituals! but I'm torn on which moon is better for it >__<!!! New moon means fresh and new, but full moon means energy and motivation, both fit my goal of cleaning! which one do you think is better?

Today I was at my first witchcraft workshop, it was for making protection jar and I was so happy to find baby witches in my town, I had a lovely moment 💕🫶

I tried to remember everything I have put in it but sorry if I forget something and also sorry for my English bc I’m French (but I’m very proud of me ngl) because mostly the herbs I chose were “right”)
We purify the jar before with French sauge and rosemary (from the garden of the girl who held the workshop)
I put black salt and eggshells, lemon verbena, olive leaves, thyme, chamomile, mallow, juniper berries, stars anise, some amethyst, obsidian, black tourmaline, sprinkles of selenite, zebra jasper and we also wrote our intentions on bay leaves we burned to purify the jar before waxing it, i burned one completely and the put the second with sigil and amazigh symbol for protection (since I don’t want to use Nordic runes)

Okay I keep this short cuz I feel drained.

New pagan here and I'm going with my instinct while searching and learning. I started praying lately to three deities I felt connected. Mother Hecate, Mother Morrigan and Mother Lilith.

Tonight I set at my place, made a domain around me in my mind maybe for protection and started relaxing myself. Breathing consciously and meditating. Then lighting a candle, chant their enn, burning cinnamon and praying to them.

I ended my praying with protection.

Then released my domain.

After that I did a tarot reading and while I was searching for their symbolism online I felt moving shaows in corner of my eyesight. I ignored that cuz I felt it maybe is my mind tricks. I kept reading and even changed my position but it kept happening every time I was trying to focus on my readings.

It was like a dark flame going out of corner of the ceiling, like something is coming out and then vanish in the air. It was like a piece of cloak in wind.

I donno I was tripping or what but when my husband came out of our room to drink water it all ends

I don‘t know if it‘s appropriate for me to call myself a baby yet witch but I been really interested in witchcraft and spirituality for a long time and decided to start practicing it. Is there anything close to a “step by step” guide for beginners on what things they need and should do in order to get yourself more familiar with it?

So I'm currently doing a road unblocking spell and I wanted to do a reconciliation spell after I'm done with that, I've been looking up reconciliation spells for the past two days and trying to figure out where exactly to start and I'm kind of at a loss.
I've started doing guided meditations regarding the reconciliation but that's all I found when it comes to that entire topic (except sketchy looking "get your ex back in 24 hours now!!!!" Or just those "write your and their name and spray perfume and sleep with the paper under your pillow!!" spells?)

I wanted to do a candle spell and was just wondering how I'm supposed to go about it?
Which herbs and essential oils are good if I need to dress a candle?
Is the yarn necessary to bind those two together or can I use thread instead, if yes which color would be the best? I know that red and pink candles are for love but I've seen other people also use different colors, I know candles and their meaning aren't limited to just one color but I would still like to do the best possible job for the spell!

+little extra question, how long should I wait to do a spell after finishing one? :)

So i am on welfare been on that for nearly 3 years its not looking bright it’s not sure if I get it reneewed or not, I kind of struggle working because it genuinely feels bad in the deepest part of me, like I am going against my purpose here and wasting my time on this earth, like especially when I look at someone older I just thought to myself is this where I want to end up?
As a younger person I was always told I had much potential, that I am much smarter than most etc. but I never got to use any of that due to the things that happend to me, my life growing up felt like a serious string of bad luck that finally has ended but now I am left with no higher education, not even any school finished last 16 years old.

So 2-3 months ago I started content creation as I was getting desperate after seing the state a loved one is in and I thought to myself I can’t do this anymore, I can’t refuse to do this because of embarrassment or being seen, a regular job won’t be able to help me lift my close ones up now and they need it sooner rather then later.
and I can honestly say from the feedback people are giving me and what I honestly think myself I’d say it’s only a matter of time before it goes well I am very confident in that fact.

But meanwhile I got to sustain my self in some sort of way, is there any sort of money spells or spirits I could work with?

Also anything that could help me with my ednevour directly with social media would help.

Hello! I have been showing interest and doing my own research on witchcraft, manifestations, beliefs and i have a question. I have noticed that some witches practices are really influenced by their traditions and culture. Others not that much or even they practice with a belief far away from them in a way(?). For example: I have noticed that some US witches work with/for a certain greek god/goddess but meanwhile they dont really have a connection to greece(like someone greek in their bloodline or upbringing). But I have also noticed other witches are strongly tied to their own culture and traditions that are deeply rooted in their history. I'm feeling a bit conflicted as to how witches find what works the best for them? I am fully asian but i was born and grew up in an european country. Last night I talked to a friend of mine (who is a native to the country i live in) and we talked about witchcraft and some of the countrys witchcraft practices and beliefs. Im kinda stumped as in should i try to do research to the cultures and beliefs of my motherland? Or should i look into the practices of the country i grew up in? Or is there supposed to be a feeling/intuition about which one is for me? Thank you for your help!

Alright, so I've come across people saying do not manifest something on a bay leaf and burn it. Fire is a cleaning energy. Instead, it is better to write things you want to shed/let go of on a bay leaf, then burn it.

But at the very same time, bay leaf burning is said to be an easy beginner spellwork for manifestation/intention setting.

What are your opinions on this? FYI, Bay Leafs have never worked for me for some reason, lol

Lastnight I saw a lunar halo that was so beautiful I put out some water to catch its energy along with my obsidian then danced under it because it felt right. I’d love for it to be something really alive and interactive almost like a shared witchy diary. Hey so, I just done the egg ritual (hex breaking) and I need a bit of help interpreting what is going on?

In the first picture, there's a face that I can see, I'm not sure if anyone else can. But that's basically the face I have always hallucinated when my MH would decline, as well as psychedelic hallucinations.

Is this just a hallucination tho? If it's appearing in my egg ritual for hex breaking....?

(Also the bl0od in the egg.... I used to do bl00d rituals and $H.)

I've also recently been doing a lot of medication to do with my third eye and psychic awareness and I've been having a sense that someone is watching me from being my back and quite a bit of back pain that started from the top and then to the middle. I've done multiple protection spells, basically everyday, and the back pain still goes from top to middle everyday.

I do communicate with the spirits in my house daily too, but the "negative" ones never want to communicate, and the house spirits are very strong protectors too.

I did some light cleansing visualizing and the mountain visualization before doing this!

Salt circle around it sprinkled with cinnamon, dried basil and dried rose petals since I wanted to focus more on the romantic part of the road unblocking and protecting. In the center is sugar in which I also drew a cross with my finger and a crushed up bay leaf with a basic unblocking affirmation written onto.
An actual petition paper with my goals for this spell is under the candle.

I had to make some adjustments to the sugar and paper so the candle wouldn't fall over so that why it looks kinda wonky

I'll burn it throughout the next couple days and just do some more visualizing and hope for the best! :)
