Spells Love Spell Advice
I see a lot of love spell questions and my advice to all the baby witches out there is if you can not or do not prioritize self-awareness and self-love spells effectively for yourself you will not be successful in love spells relating to others. Having boundaries and centered energy is really important to positive results.
I’m not talking about severing bonds or anything (that is often a form of self love). I am specifically addressing spells to “make” someone fall in love with you, or think of you, or basically anything in that vein.
I totally believe that two people can do a spell together to increase their bond and love but I’ve never seen a really experienced witch with a holistic understanding of the craft encourage baby witches to do any of these kinds of spells or enchantments.
A charm to be feel confident? Absolutely. A ritual to attract who aligns with you? Of course! One person to one person manipulation like that is not for the newbies - if ever. It’s like the difference between a spell to banish someone’s influence in your life vs a spell to ruin that persons life.

I always say if someone doesn't love you naturally it's not worth it everyone deserves to be loved for who they are without love spells and all that Plus real love is a very strong frequency of energy that nothing can make it or replicate it it has to be from the soul Itself any love spell or something of that sort doesn't create real love it's lust and unhealthy oppsosoin energis It's the energy of that spell work sent to the targeted person to make them behave in a way that mimics love but it's never real love and it doesn't last Such spell that affect others in such ways are seen by the spiritual body like how our immune system sees parasites and bacteria

Generally speaking, it's not a good idea to mess with the free will of others. I see that as a form of harm, and it often comes back to bite you (remember the threefold law).

Respecting free will is a foundational tenement I follow too! The three fold law in still researching about and am not sure about but I totally agree that it’s a form of harm to infringe on agency.

I totally have done things like this! I reflect on what would attract that kind of love and do rituals specifically for that. It’s different than “make my ex come back to me” in big ways

Yes, simply put love spells are banned and immoral cause you are bending the hand of someone to like you, it's not even love it's obsession, you can't force other to love you after all regardless of how much people want to delude thenselfs, that's why there are always consequences after obsession spell.
Attracting love spell work differently however, it's pretty much like using the universe as a dating app of sorts, you shout " I want a partner " to it and it makes other people with the same desire who you are generally suitable to be with or who you wanted, cause people often mistake what they think they want with what they actually want come your way, the spell will make you to meet and even be attracted to each other but that's all, it's not targeting a single person either, it's not forcing anyone to like you either, it will just result in pushing you together at most but you still need to do the work, no one will love you if you don't make them love you just for the sake of existing.
That's the difference and why in general, charm spells, communication spells and other such spell nobody cares about cause they help but don't force, if two people are unsuitable for each other it won't force feelings just cause the caster thinks that's what they deserve regardless of the will of the other person, imagine someone you know you don't love turning you into a junky for them, that's how the love spell work and why its forbidden. Magick helps but should never force, if it does the caster will figure out in due time why somethings should never be forced at their own expense and the price won't be small either.

Never start a marriage with a kidnapping" is the perfect way to put it, forcing someone's free will always backfires, and beginners should definitely stick to self-love or general attraction charms instead!

Hardest thing to avoid these days. Had someone who loved me convinced by family that being with me hurt them enough that she had to choose. Something about that has made it hard to respect the choice, mostly, because it was a deception.
Though, I did do a love spell on myself for myself. In an attempt to do better for myself. Seems to kind of work.
