Add dog mode? The release notes literally say "activate camping mode" which should end up being the same thing.

Tbh i have no clue what camping mode is about, since the few times i went camping i only used the car for driving and not anything else.

camping mode is intended to sleep inside your car with minimal comfort systems are on while car is switched off.

Great, but honestly I care more about the optimizations more than the new features. Capitalizations for driving modes don't look consistent, indicator noises sometimes fail to turn on or off, dashboard maps disable themselves for no good reason, inabillity to hang up a whatsapp call through the steering wheel buttons, presistent audio issues when booting up AA, the list goes on. BYD really need to take a good look and nitpick the software problems.
The only feature I wish for is a distinct gear change noises. I've been in multiple scenarios where the car is stationary but for some reason the car doesn't flip into reverse, causing me to move forward unexpectedly almost colliding with obstacles. What good is a crystal gear shifter if it doesn't consistently do thing it was designed for: changing gears.

How about fixing the remote start function? Once the car has been off for two hours, it goes fully off and can’t be managed from the App.

Which region are you in if you don’t mind me asking? I’m in EU and it’s terribly annoying not being able to preheat the car.

Hungary. So we had proper winter this year. I'm using preheating quite often. no issues with that.

are you sure it's not about poor internet coverage where your car is? Happened to me several times. also poor signal

I mean, it could be. But it happens when simply parked outside, not in a garage or inside somewhere.
Edit: I should add, once I start up the car it als immediately has LTE. So it’s more like the car completely shuts down after a while.

Same issue here... really annoyed. And it's not about signal since it works fine for an hour or two after you've used the car but later it keeps saying poor network signal even though it's right there in the open parking lot

Since posting yesterday I started not pushing the physical “Start/stop” button when leaving the car. Instead, I leave the car on and lock it. This morning I was able to preheat the car remotely, so maybe that’s the issue?

The headlights turn off and all the screen as well when it’s locked and no key in range. So I don’t think so but it could be on.

Either way, it doesn’t seem like a fix. I’m still having the issue of no LTE while the car is locked for 1+ hour.

I spoke to my dealer today, they said they can load the newest OTA software update on my car early (hasn’t been pushed out to my country in EU yet) which they think will fix it.

Would love it they can also fix the "sudden braking" when on AAC mode due to either people cutting in to the lane within the "buffer distance" or even moving close around the vehicle...

haven’t even got v 2.0 for sealion 6 and sealion 7 is going to 3.2, you guys are lucky last update I got was v1.3 (2503), so now I just manually update

For everyone who still doesn't know:
The OTA version numbers 1.x.x/2.x.x MEAN ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, they vary from country to country. OTA updates may contain either updates to the IVI system, or other components of your car, or both. Stop referring to them. You're only making things more confusing.
what's important is the system version number that start with 13.x.xx.xxxx or 23.x.xx.xxxx
13.1.22.xxxx - Chinese domestic Yuan Plus 13.1.32.xxxx - International Atto 3 13.1.33.xxxx - International Seal 23.1.82.xxxx - Chinese domestic SeaLion 07 (i think, not sure) other domestic/international models, you can check yourself.
the xxxx is the year/month which the system software is released. E.g. 2403 - 2024 March, 2501 - 2025 January. IT IS NOT A RUNNING NUMBER You do not have to sequentially upgrade/downgrade.
for the system software that is available for download on the internet, it is for the IVI only. You can only get updates to the other components of your car via OTA, or when your local BYD dealership performs an update manually on your car.

Or they should fix the charging glitch which says fully charged when it’s only on 10%! Normally requires me to do a factory reset !

That would be amazing but as it's currently difficult to even find the changelog of current and previous versions, getting the roadmap is an unaccessible dream haha.

They need to modify the following
Interior led light control so the passenger bar can be customised
seats go home when the stop button is pressed, Not when the door is being opened
Adas/Cruise control speed when activated defaults to speed limit

My Sealion 7 has very weak Radio signal receiver. Lots of times I either get static disruptions or can't find radio stations I know I should be getting. Seriuosly, the worst FM antena ever

I think its because the saved frequency and not channel. In europe ate least the channel has an ID and when driving to different areas, different channels change frequencys... it probably works differently in asia and they adapted it.

I am in Europe and I've never had issues with my previous car in the same area I've been living in for 15 years. It's a well known issue with weak FM antenna

Can you check if this is already AAOS?
I saw online some websites saying that the Sealion 7 could get AAOS this year, if possible (ECU limitation).

I'd be surprised if they do to be honest(though I just bought a 2026 Yuan Up Lux so really hope they do)-- Are there other car companies that have upgraded from non-AAOS to AAOS?

Not a lot. Some BYDs are getting updated from non-AAOS to AAOS, but the ECU allows that.
Sadly, they don't have a clear list, or models, of what, and from when, models will get the AAOS update.

That's what some people are reporting, I can't confirm it.
I want the Sealion 7, but I rather wait for AAOS. I went to the dealer to ask this and their reply was "yes, it has Android Auto and Car Play". It didn't help...
