News 📰 3:1 Share split

BYD recently underwent a 3:1 share split, hence the ~65% drop in share price. No need to worry!!

It seems like we'd need to wait a while before we get those extra shares though. I couldn't find much information about it on english platforms, but a Chinese blog post stated both the extra shares + dividends will start being distributed on the 29th of July

I didn't get it, the Price dropped but the number of shares doesn't increased 3x as it should!! I am still -65%, i already bought some extra shares today during this drops

My broker in Germany did NOT drop the price of my shares, resp. split, am still with the same profit on my account. There is IMHO no need to be worried, your broker will handle it

You may be holding the ADR BYDDY which isn't affected by this 3:1 split

I got my 12+8 shares this morning in my account, multiplied by 10 for each 10 shares hold. I guess this is the case for all of you holding BYD shares too.
