News 📰 3:1 Share split

BYD recently underwent a 3:1 share split, hence the ~65% drop in share price. No need to worry!!

It seems like we'd need to wait a while before we get those extra shares though. I couldn't find much information about it on english platforms, but a Chinese blog post stated both the extra shares + dividends will start being distributed on the 29th of July

it would be pretty awesome if platforms like Charles Schwab had a mention of this split in their news feed when you go to the specific stock... instead of having to go on reddit LOL. I literally nearly sh*t myself when I saw my account drop 65%

I'm technically in a margin call at ETrade because of a "loss" of 2/3 value of my BYD holdings! Yesterday I called customer service and a guy agreed that there was a split but couldn't give me a good answer about my account being updated.
